I haven't written one of these since August of LAST YEAR.  That's right, LAST YEAR.

Good riddance 2020, I've already forgotten you

As much as 2020 can go die in the dumpster fire it started, there were some really great things that happened to me last year (it feels so good to say that...last year...just savor it).  Two of these things was being made a Wattpad Star and having A Bachelor for Christmas join the Paid Stories program.

So as I look towards 2021, I have to ask where to go from here.  I'm certain this schedule won't stick throughout the entire year, but this is at least my projected schedule for writings:

- Late January/Early February: Posting Delilah Cross and the Blood Moon every Mon & Fri

- Late January/Early February: Resume posting The Vampire's Harvest every Wed

- June through July: Edit and Publish Falling for a Memory

- August through October: Expand/Edit and Publish His Only Weakness

- November/NaNoWriMo: Start Reverse Christmas over from scratch

- December: Rest...

So there will be two (technically) new books written this year: Delilah Cross and the Blood Moon and Reverse Christmas.

I know I'm not the only one who has been looking forward to the third book of the Delilah Cross series.  It was supposed to happen last year, but something came up some time around March and was kind of an asshole for the rest of the year so I never got into the headspace to work on the book.

Anyway, buckle up folks because I'm not going to be nice to these characters in this book.  I'm sorry, but I've been planning this particular book since before I really started the series and I'm determined to not let myself back down from my original plans.

For those who have read what I have for Reverse Christmas, I decided that the book had a far more serious tone than I had intended

For those who have read what I have for Reverse Christmas, I decided that the book had a far more serious tone than I had intended.  I want a fluffier, goofier romcom.  I will be keeping most of the characters, but the core concept of the story is going to be altered for more holiday shenanigans and less introspective reflections...

I'll be doing two edits, one for Falling for a Memory and His Only WeaknessFalling for a Memory will be mainly doing spelling/grammar cleanup as well as basic tonal and continuity edits.  However, His Only Weakness will see substantial edits including several new chapters.  Hopefully this will create some clarity around the characters' motivations and better develop the relationship between Elaina and Dom.

On top of all that, I will continue to post chapters from The Vampire's Harvest which will probably take the whole year and then some because, there's a lot of chapters

Anyway, I think that's more than enough work for me to tackle this year.  I hope you will join me on this next adventure and I hope 2021 treats you kindly. I think that's all we can hope for at this point.
