We made it to the other side of 2021! How are you all feeling? Did you make it out in one piece? For me 2021 was better than 2020, but it was a new level of frustration. Like 2020 was a steady downhill, but 2021 was dangling a carrot on the end of a string, taunting me with hopes of "normalcy" before slapping me in the face. So 2020 was awful and 2021 was just an asshole.

So I have several goals for the year. It's a pretty long list, but I'm hoping it's doable. I feel like my recent history of flakiness doesn't exactly promoted trustworthiness, but I have cut six hours from my day job and am trying to rearrange some things to create uninterrupted opportunities to write in the morning, which is generally my more productive time of the day. So, fingers crossed, and thank you to everyone who has stuck it out through what was a fairly unproductive year. I'm looking forward to getting back into the writing groove this year!

So for starters, I'm hoping to break past some milestones this year. I've been dying to hit the 100k mark for reads on a single book. Right now my closest books are A Bachelor for Christmas at 92.4k and His Only Weakness at 85.4k. I'm so close... It's gotta happen this year, right? My other milestone is also so darn close. I want to reach 1k followers, and right now I'm at 868.
