Wattys Season - 8/15/21

Hello everyone, I hope all you wonderful readers are doing well! I've been meaning to post an update for awhile, but ever since His Only Weakness was made an Editor's Pick, things have gotten a little overwhelming. In a good way! I'm so grateful for all the people who have been reading! I seriously did not expect it to do as well as it has. And that's not me being humble, that's me saying it was a NaNoWriMo book that I wrote very quickly and had to skip over some plot points with the intention to add chapters later. So the fact it is doing so well (it started out at about 3k views and is now close to 41k) while still missing what I estimate to be about 10-12 chapters, is really bewildering to me

That all being said, this feature has also made me realize that perhaps it is worth putting the effort in to finish those extra chapters asap and get His Only Weakness submitted for the Wattys. Not sure how I'll pull that off, but these numbers are telling me I should find the time and get my butt in gear.

That all being said, I did intend to submit Falling for a Memory for the Wattys already. Not that I have any expectations of getting anywhere in the competition, but it was eligible and I figured why not. It just provoked me into finishing my edit faster than I had originally planned. In fact, I finished the edits yesterday and I submitted it earlier today!

I also updated the cover since I figured it was a good time to refresh it. It's nothing extravagant, but whatever. Anyway, here it is!

So that's all for now. Falling for a Memory is officially nominated and I'm going to start focusing on getting His Only Weakness in next. Cross your fingers for me... Only have a month and a half to write like 10 chapters and then edit the whole thing... I'm fine...
