I finally sat down and finished up my outline for The Mrs. Claus Affair! If I really kick it into gear I should be able to finish this by Christmas. I make no promises as it is Christmas... But here's hoping!
I know there's a lot of problems in the story and I've got lots of notes on how to flesh out characters and plot points, but I'm still thrilled that this is almost done. I haven't finished a draft for a novel in years. My pregnancy took a toll on my productivity and it's comforting to know I can finish a novel if I want to. So yeah, it might not be great, but it's still going to be complete! And that's an achievement in itself ;)
