Hello all! For those in the northern hemisphere, I hope you are enjoying the last stretch of spring as we move into summer. For those in the southern hemisphere, I hope winter doesn't freeze you too early.

Anyway, if you didn't see my announcement last week, I've been slowly but surely working on refreshing my old books. What this translates to is a bunch of little changes to give the books polish and some new features.
This is my basic checklist:
- Run the book through ProWritingAid to do a thorough edit.
- Update cover if it hasn't been updated recently.
- Create an aesthetics board on Pinterest.
- Create a book playlist on Spotify.
- Add some graphics for chapter headers and footers.
- Post the bonus chapters that have previously been exclusive to purchased copies.

So this is part of an effort to move books off of Amazon. Not that I'm angry with Amazon or anything, but updating it to have fresher covers or new edits or whatever, takes more time and energy than I feel is worth the meager royalties I get. So I'm moving them off Amazon and doing updates on Wattpad along the way. The hope is that after this, I'll only touch these books once every couple of years to do a cover refresh.
If this doesn't make sense to you, I understand. Typing it out makes it feel more convoluted than it did in my head, but whatever I'm going with it.

So I have a lot of books to go through, but I've at least finished Love in His Lie. I chose this one because I have done a cover update recently and I think it's a pretty solid novel already so I didn't foresee a lot of editing being done (and that assumption was correct). Which means you can now see some of my thought process behind the book with the aesthetics board and playlist, and get to have access to the bonus epilogue for the first time ever on Wattpad!

The next book on my list to do is Her Christmas Legacy! So for fans of that book, you have the bonus chapter to look forward to in the next few months. I'm uncertain when I will be done with it since we're moving into the summer and I'll be writing more part time since I have to watch my son, but my hope is to have it done by fall.
