Happy March everyone!  My heart will always belong to fall, but spring is a close second, though it would be an even closer second if I didn't always get my ass beat by allergies each year...

Anyway, the second draft of "The Business of Love and Lies" is done.  I'm feeling so much better about it now.  I think it has emerged from the cocoon and has become a bit of a butterfly!  Not like the most gorgeous butterfly mind you...but, you know, it's not hideous anymore...

Somehow I've managed to get a couple days ahead of my deadline for this draft so I'm going to try and write the short story for it now.  I think I have a good idea about what I want, but I really, really hate writing short stories.  It's always a brutal process for me, but I still think it's worth the effort.  Especially because I actually really liked the short I wrote for "The Mrs. Claus Affair."  I just didn't like writing it.

So hopefully I'll get that done tomorrow and then I can proceed full speed ahead next week with the final edit before sending it out to my beta readers.  I would, however, like to come up with a new title by then.  I've hated the title since I came up with it, but I haven't figured out what else to call it yet...  I'm just really bad at condensing stories.  Short stories, synopses, titles, whatever.  If it's not in novel form, I down right suck at it.
