I had surgery last week and it took about that long to stop bleeding from it. That being said, I think it was a success. I feel like I can breathe a lot better and haven't been yawning every 15 minutes like I used to (the 15 minutes was only kind of an exaggeration).
Now that that is taken care of, it's time to go into launch mode! I've got two new books launching within the next couple of weeks.
Treasured by the Dragon is launching on Tuesday, February 27th! Still no cover, but I've seen a few mockups and I'm looking forward to the final creation :)
I don't know what the posting cadence will be other than it will be twice a week. Given the launch date is a Tuesday, I'm guessing Tuesday will be one of the weekly posting days, but I won't know for certain until Wattpad tells me.
Either way though, there will be 15 chapters released at launch! First five will be free and then the rest are behind a paywall. I, of course, would very much appreciate the support of buying credits to read the chapters early, but if that's not in your budget, you'll only have to wait for the next chapter to be posted for you to get access to another chapter.
So after the first 15 chapters are posted, the 16th chapter will get posted another day and the 6th chapter will come out from behind the paywall. So there will always be 10 chapters requiring payment if you want to binge read, but the rest will be made free over time.

Also coming up is the launch of Delilah Cross book 5: The Astral Eyes. Unless I find out my posting cadence for Treasured is Tuesdays and Fridays, the launch day will be Friday, March 8th. If Treasured is posted on Fridays, I'll just move Astral Eyes to Saturdays.
Both of these books are available on my profile, so you can add them to your libraries now so you know the moment the first chapter is posted!

In completely unrelated news, I added one more complication in my life. A dear member of my church community, someone who has been kind and generous with my family, passed away recently. It came to my attention that she left two cats behind after her death. Though she has four loving children, they live far away and don't have the best households for two very elderly cats. So they asked our church community if anyone could care for the cats. As a cat lover who lost her beloved cat a little over a year ago, it felt like the right time to take in a couple new ones--my husband might disagree.
Anyway, after I passed the family's rigorous inspection as they do very much want to honor their mother's love for her cats, the two cats were placed in my care as of yesterday. So far things have actually gone pretty well. My dominate cat and their dominate cat are currently squaring off, but it's actually been a lot less hostile than I thought it might be. Hopefully it will work out and they'll eventually tolerate each other at the least.
So our cat family has doubled in size!
