Coming Soon to Paid Stories - 6/9/22

Hello everyone! As the title of this post suggests, I have an exciting announcement to make about a new addition to the Paid Stories program!

As I was reaching my last day at my day job, I started to have those nasty little voices in my head that wondered if I was making the right decision. I mean, I knew that writing is what I wanted to do, but was I really ready to say goodbye to a stable paycheck? It was just one of those worries that comes and goes, but it was a nagging voice that I really didn't need while I worked on transitioning to this new chapter in my life. Thankfully, a few weeks ago, I received an email that provided a much needed boost to my confidence.

That email notified me of Wattpad's interest in adding Falling for a Memory  to the Paid Stories program! Despite the fact it won a Watty, I'm still dumbstruck by how far this story has gone. Falling for a Memory is a rather personal story in regards to how I perceive and cope with death, and it's a rather dark and mature tale. I wrote it more as therapy for myself than with expectations of it going anywhere so it's a little surprising to me that it will be joining this program. At the end of the day though, I'm just so grateful that the book resonates with readers. If my own struggles with death can help others work through their grief, then I'm thrilled.

Now I don't have an exact date on when the Paid Story will launch, but it will likely be sometime in the late summer. It will also be getting a new cover, which I'm super excited about. So look forward to a cover reveal sometime before the launch. Until then, though, you can read Falling for a Memory for free so get it while you can (though your support when it goes to Paid is also very much appreciated)!
