Adelaide Blanc was raised alongside Drackenridge's Princess Cecily, knowing one day she'd become captain of the princess's guard. However, Adelaide's military training went to little use while sitting in on tea parties and playing companion at royal balls. As the years waned on she feared she'd never temper her steel in the fires of conflict, doomed to live a rather domestic life in a coat of armor.

That was until the engagement ball between Princess Cecily and Prince Harrick of Raidenfall, a kingdom that had recently been beaten back from a greedy campaign to capture Drackenridge. Though the marriage was an attempt at peace, the young romance was cut short when a gang of dragon riders crashed the party and snatched Princess Cecily.

Furious with the loss of her charge and given the new task of exchanging the crown jewels for the safe return of the princess, Adelaide ventures through the kingdom to bring her mistress home. She may know nothing of life outside the palace walls, but she won't let any pirates, dragons, or dark mages keep her from fulfilling her duty.

Here it is the first cover reveal!  I decided that, though this was the fourth book I wrote last year, it is the weakest out of my line up as well as thematically the odd one out.  Thus, I decided it would be best to release it first so that it didn't disrupt the flow of the other releases.

This is also my least favorite cover out of the ones I've done so far.  But, hey, some day I'll hopefully have money and I can actually pay someone to make me a bad ass cover.  For now, I'm happy with what I was able to do on my own!

Anyway, I'm excited to finally share this!  It's crazy to think how far I've come and even crazier to think I'll be publishing my first book in years very soon!
