38. Periods

I don't know what happen to me that I didn't even lifted anu call nor I replied to her.

I feel like it's better to maintain some distance instead of crying later over a spilled milk.

I reached home when mom having her lunch but seeing me in odd hours she got panic and bombarded me with different questions.

"Why are you looking so dull? What happen siya" mom asked me

"Nothing mom just had headache and wanna sleep sometime as there are no classes I came." I said

"Okay. Did you have your lunch?" Mom asked

"No ma. I had it" I lied and I gave my lunch to one of the beggar on my way

"Okay fresh up and com" mom said and having her meal and I went to change my clothes.

"Here have this" mom placed a plate in front of me which she made yesterday some biscuits, chips and sweet.

"I said I did my lunch ma" I hissed

"That is the reason I gave you snacks otherwise I would have bring you food only" she stated gesturing me to have it

"Please "I begged as my head is burning

"No way. Eat and see your plate I even gave you sweet to so have it. and I know you did long back may be at one and now time is two so have it and sleep." She said

"Seriously mom one hour is it so long" I asked frustratedly.

"Do you really have lunch or you trying to make a story now?

Anyway I don't want any more argument just have it at least some if you feel it's too heavy" she said and sat beside me

With no option left I ate and there her interrogation start

"Did anyone say anything or did anyone hurt you..?? Why are you looking so dull" she asked checking me from top to bottom

"No one have a dare to hurt me so relax and the thing is I'm having headache and back pain so I came as I don't have energy "I said

"Are you saying truth?" mom asked and I glared at her

"Ok.. When are your periods" mom asked

"May be tomorrow" I replied

"Okay and I will ask aunty some suggestion to have less pain on period time. I don't know why you are becoming so weak on those days and having back pain like that..." mom said and I interrupt her in middle

"Don't stress "I said

"I won't when you listen to me and eat everything without doing any task of separation from your plate." She said and I ignored like every time and went to wash my hands

"Ok bye good night"I said and mom shakes her head in disbelief

I immediately slipped into deep slumber but just after few minutes that got interrupted by mom again.

I looked at her angrily but she is looking at me worriedly.

Now again what happen I thought and tried to move but hissed in pain and felt some wet and I immediately opened my eyes wide as I understood what it is.

"Get up"mom said and gave her hand and I slowly woke up and got bath and washed my cloth

"Had any bad dream"mom asked as soon as I came out of washroom to which I shrugged.

"Why"I asked as I don't remember anything.

"You are murmuring something so got up and wake you up"mom said while checking my temperature
