I guess i may have a little explaining to do, though I'll admit even I'm confused by the exact details. However when your told by some strange glowy lady that your sacrifice could save the galaxy that's a very clear message - oh and that apparently you have a sister who you also have the chance to save. See? I already have a headache!Let's start at the beginning anyway; hey there, I'm Ari Shimara born some place green with farmland. My mum passed away when i was a little girl and a few years after that pirates came to my village and killed my dad before dragging me away. I know depressing right, well it got worse. As an infant i was taken into slavery on a planet I never bothered to learn the name to - being fair i never bothered to learn much. It was during this time I met my first friend Kora, me and her did everything together, well we tried to. She was some ex-twi'lek tribal princess or some such, something high profile like that. All i knew is she was special enough that we didn't get as harshly punished when we misbehaved, though it was still worthier at least trying to follow orders. You now how slavers can be, no sense of humour.
Bit like grumpy Windu really.
Anyway fast forward a year or so Kora and I were shipped to the empire of Dillau, a very concerning civilisation built solely on a persons status and skill in combat. I heard the current empress killed her father purely because he tried to find her a suitor. Then again if you met the woman that would be no surprise, Ilya Schina was a right piece of work to be around. We're talking complete control freak; look and the ground in her presence, don't speak unless specifically told to, bow in as she passes don't you dare look prettier than me kind of woman. Now being only about six I lacked any kind of understanding for these rules, and well if you know me then you can probably predict that my curious nature and explorative nature had me in trouble nearly all the time. Luckily Kora was older than me and so managed to pull me out of trouble some of the time, - even one of the princes started to have our back. Damien Schina, ah the queens favourite son...and the cause of my first near death experience.
About two years into my time there you see the queen saw the three of us together and was absolutely furious. She screamed saying that Kora and I had corrupted her sons mind, that we had caused him to stray from his path as a prince. Then she went to draw her sword, and i remember i was genuinely terrified. However next thing I was aware of my body was being dragged from the rubble of the west wing by Damien and Kora as alarms rang out through the stone city. I didn't understand at the time but luckily my friends did. See that was the first day i used the force, quite literally brought the roof down. Anyway obviously we couldn't stay after that, I remember Damien packed me and Kora onto a supplies ship and had us shipped to Tattooine, a planet where no one would come looking for us since Dillau was famously hostile towards the Hutts.
Two days later Master Starfallen picked me up, apparently there had been a coded call to the temple. To this day however I'm unaware as to what happened to Kora, she told me to go that last day with he jedi but when I returned some years later there was just no trace of her.
Now, my time with the Jedi had to be the happiest of my life; I had shelter, food, warmth, and moist importantly security. I know during my life I always said Kaida was a scary women - and don't get me wrong I stand by that. But when I first joined the order she always seemed to come and quietly check I was alright, never announcing herself but instead just looking in on my classes or wether I'd made it to lunch. She'd deny it for sure but I think behind all that scary black leather Kaida Starfallen actually has quite a big heart. Then again that may just be my wild imagination...I'm pretty sure she did once threaten a group of younglings...
