Sweet Dreams, TN (The Last Shadow Puppets)

"You know, Prongs is gonna be pissed off when he realizes that he's not part of the great hair club." Sirius commented, looking at Lily for approval. "We also need to find a cooler name."

"I really doubt he wants to talk to us about our hair, Sirius." Lily sighed, noticing Remus' nervous demeanor. From pacing up and down the room to furrowed eyebrows, the young werewolf was certainly on a predicament. Should he really ask for their help? He knew for a fact that James and Peter would immediately freak out when they heard that not only he had an one night stand he couldn't remember, but he also hadn't been able to shake it off. Although Sirius was the "heartthrob" with the bad reputation in their group, Remus knew that he would know how to tackle this issue.

"You're right." He began, sitting on the bed. "So, remember when I said that I made out with someone during the party, but I was too drunk to remember who it is?"

"Yes." Sirius answered, furrowing his eyebrows. "Did she talk to you about it?"

"No, I still don't know who she is." Remus admitted, not noticing Lily's skeptical expression. "The issue is that we didn't just kiss. In reality, we went all the way and I can't stop thinking about it..."

Lily was truly a very lucky woman. If Remus was any less distraught, he would have certainly observed her eyes widening and her gaze abruptly averting to the door. No, Lily Evans had never been a good liar. Even if her words were somewhat convincing, her eyes and subtle mannerisms would betray the truth instantly. A kiss was much different than sex and right now, Remus had revealed that what happened between him and Callisto was as intimate as it could get. Part of her wanted to confess that it was Callisto, but she had made a promise and she should honor it. Yet, the look in Remus' eyes and his words showed clearly that it had meant something to him.

"You want to find her." Sirius guessed, living up to the standards of his name. Remus nodded in agreement. "Do you remember anything at all? What color she was wearing, what house she was in..."

"No." Remus answered, opening the drawer and pulling out the small box. "I found that necklace on the floor when I woke up. The chain must have broken and she didn't notice."

Lily took the necklace in her hands, her finger trailing over the ruby stone. She had to make a choice; tell Remus she knew it was Callisto, or pretend she didn't know and join them in their little quest, hoping that they would figure it out on their own at some point.

"Well, the last time I saw you it was when Callisto arrived." Sirius informed them, peaking Remus' interest. "After that I went with Mcdonald, so I don't really know if you went with someone else. Do you reckon it could be Blondie?"

"She would have teased me about it if it was her." Remus retorted. Of course she had considered that it could have been Callisto, yet after her demeanor towards him hadn't changed, he had dismissed that possibility. "But maybe I should ask her..."
