Song:
Reflections (The Neighbourhood)
"I never knew somebody like you, somebody..."

"So, she's still sensitive." Sirius repeated for what seemed to be the hundredth time, in an attempt to remind both himself and the others, that although Callisto Claire was alive and well, she was still not in optimal condition.

"She's still sensitive." Peter confirmed, giving a thumbs up with both his hands to the boy. "Can she eat normally?"

"Yes, she's fine with food." James answered, a sigh of relief escaping Peter's lips as he dug his hand in his pocket where two packets of sour gummies were waiting for him.

"Did anyone else think she sounded weird in her letters or was it just me?" Peter pondered, turning to look at the two boys. "I mean, she just got her memories back, but she seemed different."

"I don't think we should worry, Wormy." Sirius reassured him, letting his baggage in the empty compartment, before he boarded the train. "She just needs a bit of time."

"And love." James added, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. "Wonder who could give that to her."

"Oh Moony!" Sirius mused, opening the door of their usual compartment with a dramatic move. "This is embarrassing..."

"Where is he?" Peter muttered, looking at the empty compartment in front of them. Usually Remus was the one to board the train first, as Hope was borderline neurotic with being on time. The boys always attributed that to the fact that Hope wasn't a witch, and as a result she had limited trust in their system and how it worked. Lyall had tried to convince her multiple times that the train entrance to the platform couldn't malfunction no matter what happened, but they all eventually came to terms with her coming to drop Remus off around an hour before departure.

"Prefect duties?"

"I'm more important?" James whined, plopping on the seat messily and patting the space next to him for the two boys.

Three minutes in silence had passed, as a sign of mourning or rather, mooning, as James had called it, but Remus was still nowhere to be seen. That was until the compartment door opened and their heads snapped towards the entrance, only for Lily Evans to be greeted with a series of disappointed noises.

"What are you all doing?" Lily questioned, crossing her arms under her chest. "Where is Remus? He's late. As a matter of fact, James, you're late too."

"He abandoned me with the kids, Lils." James mumbles, patting Sirius' and Peter's heads with a saddened expression in his face. "That bastard. I knew I should have never trusted his pretty lies and big-!"

"Don't even finish that sentence." Peter interrupted, a horrified look on his face.

"Heart." Sirius completes the sentence with a smug smile. "His big heart."
