Lily Evans was usually not the type to gossip around.

She liked to listen to gossip, but she was never one to spread it. That was why watching Callisto Claire follow a random guy up to his dorm put her in such a predicament. She was very mad at Remus, but not to the point where she felt like keeping this a secret. Then again, Callisto was a single woman; she could do whatever she wanted with whoever she wanted.

The redhead kept her mouth shut as the four Marauders strolled down the staircase, their loud footsteps alarming half the school. It was James with the heavy walk, and Peter with the unruly stepping. Sirius walked as quietly as a cat, his footsteps never being heard until he was right behind you, and Remus only stomped when he was annoyed. It was a wordless protest of some form, powered by pettiness.

"Evans." Sirius acknowledged, plopping down next to her. "What are you doing?"

"Oh, nothing." She mumbled, shrugging.

I only just watched Callie walking up to a guy's room. Nothing to worry about...

"Didn't you have a training session with Callie?" Lily asked, trying to sound as inconspicuous as she could, while making them search for her.

"This morning." James corrected, putting his arm around her shoulders. "It was us three, Regulus and a guy from Durmstrang for demonstration purposes."

"Leo, yes." Sirius confirmed. "You should have seen them, Evans. I thought they were going to kill each other."

Remus looked up, unable to hide his curiosity, "Why?"

"They were just slashing each other up." James stated. "And she almost gave him a concussion and poisoned him. Classic Elphie."

"Is she okay?" Remus asked, trying to cover the concern in his voice but clearly failing judging by the way they were all looking at him. "Oh fuck off, guys. I'm just curious."

Peter smiled smugly, "Curious or concerned?"

"Right now, I'm leaning towards annoyed."

"Okay, don't bite now." Peter hummed, raising his arms defensively. "I was just curious."

"Give your mom my love, aye Pete?"

"Oh, he went there." Sirius snickered, turning to James with a smirk on his lips. James tried to appear more mature, but he failed as his cheeks grew a deep shade of red at trying to stop his laughter.

"Guys," Lily murmured, her eyes fixed on Remus who still looked quite bothered by Peter's comments.

"Yes?"
