The sound of the clock ticked all over the house. The sound of the cold breeze dancing in the atmosphere and the movements of small dusts.

She could hear it all. Everything.

Nothing escapes from her heightened senses. And maybe one of the reasons why rats who used to wander behind the walls of the house are now gone.

A woman walked out of the dungeon located in the deepest part of the house. She entered her kitchen where a squirming human is prepared on a gigantic plate. Tied on all posts of her long table.

The woman smiled with satisfaction and killed her breakfast without hesitation. She slashed the throat open before she devoured the flesh. Draining the body from every blood left.

"My lady! I have prepared the serum along with your bath..." a woman entered the room. Halting the vampire from finishing her breakfast. Blood painted all over her mouth whilst her eyes glowed a dark shade of red.

"Good. Get my car ready! I'm leaving after this!" The vampire ordered her butler.

Her butler is also a vampire like her. Although she is a half-blood. She works for a pureblooded vampire same as her own family who had been loyal in the same job and family for years.

Her current master is the last pureblood vampire of the SATE clan.

The vampire finished off her breakfast and headed straight to her bathroom to clean up. The serum is already there, waiting for her to drink.

The serum is created with special ingredients. This helps her survive the sun whenever she drink this. It can also hide their vampire scent and mask it with a mere human scent.
And only the SATE clan were able to make this kind of serum and was able to walk under the scorching heat of sun because of it.

The pureblooded vampire stayed in her bath for a good few hours before she finally stood up to get dressed. The serum carried on her capable hands.

Today is the second day of classes for the nearby University. The vampire wanted to attend the first class but she had other important business to attend to.
Such as the death anniversary of her parents.

As the last descendant of the SATEs. She have many responsibilities to take. Including one which is to keep the family's main treasure and secret. The creation of the serum.
The vampire would always make as many serum as she can every winter. Nobody else knows the ingredients or procedure to do it but her.

And another thing that she does as a vampire.
She hunts down any werewolves who tries to invade her territory. Which indicates that the city she lives in right now has been under protection by SATEs for centuries. And she had the right to claim the city for herself.

The vampire is very strict to whoever enters the city. Which is why there are many checkpoints on every exit. But she never exposed herself as the real owner and had her butler taken care of everything.

Which is why getting into college is not much of a troublesome for her because of her wealthy and grand connections.

"We have the car ready, my lady." The butler informed upon entering her dressing room and helped her with her clothes.

"Rhian!!!!" A loud familiar voice echoed all over the house.

The pureblood could hear him loud and clear and her brows twitch in annoyance because of it.
If it wasn't her one and only friend, Vladimir. Another pureblooded vampire from another clan. He is a russian descent and he's been staying in her city claiming he wants to accompany his friend's long and cold lonely life.
