BLUE HOUR: The Primes

ʳʰⁱᵃⁿ ᵃⁿᵈ ʰᵉʳ ᶠᵉᵃʳ

Rhian simply grinned as she watches the walls of bushes finally stopped growing.

Chill and relaxed. She didn't bother to sprint away from those hungry souls. After all, she won't be a target since she is not a body vessel that would be a good use for them. She's basically a walking dead without a soul to begin with.

The vampire started walking with her hands playing with the small box tied on her belt. She kept shaking it, fond of the tingling sound that the small bottles of serum are making inside the box.

An hour later and Rhian became bored. She had found herself in a three deadend in that one hour but eventually managed to continue by wrecking the bushes.

Unlike the others. She wasn't that afraid anymore compared to when she got a good look on Yalex original face.

He looks totally awful!
She thought as she chuckled.

The images of her friends fleeing for their lives made her laugh. Especially those who are weak hearted. She could just see them in her mind screaming hilariously.

"I think they'll all have a heart attack here! This place isn't even that bad." She laughed and started skidding in the dark.

Her eyes could see clearly in the dark and it only made her senses more alert. So she really had nothing to worry about.
Unlike earlier because she had to help and protect the weak members as part of their 'teamwork'.

A few more minutes of Rhian just casually walking and searching for her way out. She heard inaudible voices not very far from her.

Rhian quickly dashed to check what it is and she was relieved to see someone very familiar.

"Blue?" She called seeing the boy curled in a corner. Hugging his knees while sobbing to himself.

The sooner he heard his name called. He stopped sobbing nor making any move. He slowly lifted his head and Rhian was stunned to see him glaring at her. He obviously looked angry.

But he didn't have his emotions. Did Yalex returned it to poke fun on him?!

Rhian immediately went to the boy to check on him. But before she could touch him, Blue aggressively swatted her hand away.

"Don't touch me!" He muttered firmly and Rhian is now totally dumbfounded.

"W-what's wrong? Did Yalex do something to you?" She asked. Trying not to act sensitive at how he reacted.

Blue didn't answer her and just looked away.

"Blue. Are you alright? Did Yalex fought with you again?" She asked again and this time, Blue gave her an annoyed expression.

"Stop asking question! You won't be of any help anyway!" He snapped before standing up.

He started walking away without even waiting for her. Rhian quickly followed behind as she stare on his back with a mixture of a stunned and confused expression.

Maybe this place is only making him act up. Blue would never react this way to me.
She thought and her face had gotten more concern.

But it wasn't even five minutes when Rhian asked him again and Blue suddenly lashed out at her.

"I'm not fu**ing okay!!!" He yelled at her face and Rhian stepped back in surprise.

A-are we gonna fight again?

"This place! This place only made everything worse!!! I was fine by myself and you all just have to break in and bring me here!!! Now everything is a mess!!!" He continued rambling and his expression looked totally angry

"W-what are you talking about? Blue if there's something wrong, tell me! I can help you!" Rhian said to him as she tries her best to sound calm.

"Help me? Then can you kill me here right now?" He said with sarcasm and Rhian immediately frowned.

"What the fu**!? Do you even hear yourself!? What's the matter with you?!" She snapped as she was triggered by the request he made.

If there's one thing she had feared. It was when Blue starts asking for death.
She didn't want him to go like he almost did the day they met.
Not only because it will cause her a tremendous pain. But it will also be the end of their long race. And she would be partly respomsible for it.

"You're all bunch of bullsh*ts! You promised none of this will happen but where are we now!? We're literally stucked in hell and nobody's even here to help us!"

"Everything is fu**ed up and the mission is a failure! Everything is a failure!" The boy cried as he broke into tears.

Rhian saddened as she watch her boyfriend crumbling down to the same dark pit again.
That he was giving up again.

"Blue. I'm still here. We can help each other. We'll find a way out. Trust me!" She said to him and attempted to hug him but he quickly glared at her before she can step closer.

"Trust you?" He chuckled. But this time, there was a sense of disappointment in it. And it was too obvious to not be noticed.

"I did trust you but where are we now?"

"I was finally happy when I was going to die that day..."

"And you came just to ruin everything..."
