So if y'all have heard any elderly talk really slow. That's how the old woman was talking to them.
"Before all of that happened. What are they like? Especially with their riders?" Yvel asked hoping that they would segue from the sad ending of their history.
"Dragons and their riders are like the best example of a master and apprentice. The dragon does everything that the rider commands."
"They have an unbreakable bond that no other could compare. It's strong and beautiful."
"They are a family to each other and they will always care and show love for each other."
"Dragons may be very dominant. But without a rider, they feel neglected and grows weak. If their destined rider rejects them, they grow weak."
"They know many things about each other. Even the most sensitive things."
The old woman suddenly grinned at Yvel as she removed her hands from the ball. Leaving it back into pitch black and covered it again with the cloth.
"Sensitive things? Like what?" Coleen asked.
"I think... For example with alphas and omegas. The thing about the ruts and heats." Ysabella said while keeping her gaze fixed at the old woman.
Yvel frowned having the lackness of idea about what Ysabella just said. But the others who knows about it couldn't help but flush at the thought of their pure youngest going into heat.
He's too cute. Making it too impossible to see him go wild.
"I don't understand. What do you mean by that?" Yvel asked. Ignoring everyone's sneaky gestures to her not ask about it.
"His twin is right. For alphas and omegas who have their ruts and heats. They are to mate and satisfy their needs until their hormones subsided. The alphas are like the riders and dragons are the omega."
Yvel's face went completely flushed and red hearing her explanation. But it didn't end there.
"Full grown dragons goes into heat every two or three months. They turn into human and mate with fellow dragons."
"But because of their uncontrolled and very strong heats and ruts. The dragons sometimes mate with other races. Resulting to an abomination."
"You and your twin were the last example and the first offsprings to live." She said and beckoned at the twin on the other side of the group.
"What is heat?" Kitsch asked the old woman and everyone was quicker to panic before she could answer.
"Nothing! It's nothing!" Yvel said and immediately covered his ears.
Ysabella looked quite flush as she is aware of what it means. Courtesy of hanging out with a demon while learning.
"You know what! You've been very nice and that was a lovely story! But we must be going now!" Blue stated while Yvel and Ysabella pulls Kitsch to stand up.
He was insisting to stay and have his questions answered but the ladies had pulled him out of the tent. The rest following him after.
"Why don't you guys take a walk. There's a lot stalls everywhere. I'm sure you can get Kitsch to get his mind off from here." Samuel suggested.
"I'll come with him!" Jade said.
Ysabella, Trevor and Coleen volunteered to join them too. And the five eventually left to distract Kitsch from insisting to go back to the fortune teller.
