"There you are!" Samuel suddenly passed by the door and saw the two.
He immediately looked at Trevor and tilted his head. Then turned to look at Yalex who was giggling with pure satisfaction.
"I'm glad you brought him back in one piece. I was so worried." Samuel said with a sigh making Yalex turn to him with a frown.
"He's a pathetic weakling! You should have seen the look on his face when he saw my exotic birds down there!" Yalex exclaimed as if a kid whining for a new toy.
"Besides! We haven't even gotten the best part and he's already whining like a bi**h!" The demon complained.
"It's not time yet for them to meet. You know that." Samuel whispered but enough for the demon to hear. Looking at him sternly.
He knows that Trevor is too exhausted and scared to even try and eavesdrop on their conversation. So Samuel didn't have to worry about mentioning something classified for the time being.
"And I'm pretty sure you know this is going to happen!" Yalex scoffed and walked towards the door to leave the room. Samuel immediately tailed behind him.
"I don't want you to tell him about your brother just yet. He's not ready for that. He's only just a kid!" Samuel said as the two walked down the hallway.
"Please. He literally look like he's only a year younger than us! Stop treating him like a baby!" Yalex grimaced and made a cigarette appear on his hand, smoking in an instant.
"He is a baby! Need I remind you that you are alive even before earth comes to life? You're a walking fossil around him." Samuel stated with sarcasm and Yalex immediately stopped walking just to glare at him. His cigarette disappearing in a puff of smoke.
"Stop saying that like you weren't from the first age too! You're alive before eras begin! You're old and hag!" Yalex scowled at him and continued walking. Samuel could only laugh at his sensitivity to his age.
Who would believe that someone who looks as young and fit as Yalex. Is actually more than a billion years old. And he doesn't even age a single day.
"If I'm old and hag! What does that make you?" Samuel laughed that earned him a punch from the demon but effortlessly dodge it because why not.
"Chill! I'm messing with you! Stop being sensitive like a senile old man!" Samuel laughed while raising both his hand.
"You'll pay for this one day! I'll make sure of that!" Yalex warned and both of them continued walking down the stairs to head to the garden where they'll probably find either Blue or Rhian.
"Isn't Trevor your nephew? Why are you giving him a hard time?" Samuel suddenly asked.
"Duh! I'm trying to be nice to my brother's child! This is how we treat family! And if I was giving him a hard time, I would've fu**ed him right away after I realized he's my mate!" Yalex explained while observing the different designs that were carved on the trees.
There were trees that was carved as demon, angel and many other creatures. Although they looked quite messy. Probably because Rhian is too lazy to hire gardeners to fix her garden.
"You people have a funny way of treating your family 'nicely'." Samuel scoffed while he too is observing the trees.
"Believe me! I'm the kindest among my people!" Yalex said proudly followed by a sly grin.
"Eeeng!!! You!? Hell no!" Samuel aggresively refused to believe him and Yalex shot him a stunned look.
"What!? Did you seriously think I'm the worst just because I'm a demon!?" He yelled at the winter prince using his dark and original demon voice.
