Hermione and Ron quickly put their phones down as they heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Harry was at 12 Grimmauld Place.

The door to the room they were in, suddenly burst open to reveal the boy himself, fuming.

Before they could even get a word in, he began shouting. And continued shouting, for a long time.

When he finally had to take a moment to breath, Hermione burst out into apologies and kept explaining how it wasn't their fault and it was all Dumbledore's rules.

"WELL- Well- that doesn't explain why Y/n hasn't texted me! Wait- is she here too?" Harry's voice suddenly filled with hope.

"No, she isn't. And Harry... her brother just died..."

"Gee thanks Hermione, I forgot" Harry sat down and dropped his head into his hands.

"She thinks it's me" he groaned.

"Thinks, what's you?" Ron asked.

"She thinks I killed him"

"What?" Ron breathed a laugh "what're you on about?"

"It's my fault! I told him to take the cup with me! Voldemort wanted me, not him! I killed him!" Harry shouted.

"Harry-" Hermione began.

"No- just go" he snapped.

Hermione and Ron had never left a room quicker.

Harry sat there and rubbed his eyes with his palms.

Summer had been absolute torture for him.

With no news from the Wizarding World, no messages from his friends, no messages from her.

Y/n Diggory hadn't contacted him once all summer.

To be fair, her brother had just died, and Harry probably should've texted her first. But he just couldn't bring himself to.

He felt guilty about Cedric's death.

He had tried texting her about 24 times. But every time, he would delete the paragraph and go back to staring at his ceiling.

A hesitant knock sounded on the door.

"Harry? I don't know if you've eaten but dinner's ready for you" it was Mrs. Weasley.

"Ok" Harry spoke, realizing how much of an ass he'd been.

He got up and left the room, walking downstairs to where everyone was sitting at a long table.

Hermione and Ron glanced at him nervously, as if he were about to start shouting again. But he merely sat down and stared at the table.

"So Harry!" Sirius announced joyously, "how's schoollllll?" He grinned.

Harry looked up at his godfather and raised his eyebrows.

"Well, aside from the whole thing with the tournament... and the dead guy..."

"It's alright" Harry muttered.

"What about your girlfriend?" Sirius smirked.

Harry choked on his air.

"Wh-whAt girlfriend?"

"The... the one girl... what was her name, Ron?"

Harry turned to glare at his ginger friend.

Ron smiled guiltily.

"Y/N! That was her name!" Sirius clapped his hands in triumph.

"How- why do you know about her?" Harry questioned.

"Ron showed me a picture" Sirius answered.

"How do you have a picture?" Harry said in a very high-pitched voice.

"It was actually Hermione's picture" Ron replied.

"How does Hermione have a picture?" Harry's voice maintaining the same high pitch.

"I'm her friend. We hang out."

"Oh."

"Soooo, when do I get to meet her?"

"Never, because she's not my girlfriend"

"But, she will be?"

Harry sighed and laid his head down on table.

"Stop pestering him" Remus nudged Sirius.

"B-but aww Cmon" Sirius groaned.

The conversation began on another topic, which Harry was very grateful for.

Though, he didn't miss Sirius mouthing 'we'll talk later', with a wink.
