A knock sounded at Y/n's door and she peered up from her book.

It couldn't be Harry yet, she hadn't opened the door for him. And it couldn't be any of her dorm mates, they wouldn't knock.

"Hello?" She called out cautiously.

"Y/n?"

"Harry?"

She got up from her bed and opened the door, facing Harry with furrowed eyebrows.

"Who let you in?"

"No one"

"You guessed the riddle, all by yourself?" She gaped at him.

He nodded proudly.

"Good job!" She cheered and ruffled his hair.

He looked away to hide the blush that was rapidly colouring his cheeks.

Y/n smiled at him and flopped down on her bed, opening her book again.

Harry stood awkwardly for a few moments before sitting on just the edge of her bed. His eyes roamed around her room, not knowing exactly what to do.

He turned to look at her and his faced flushed all over again when she peered up and met his eyes.

She chuckled and patted the spot next to her. He scooted over to her and gave her a small smile.

She returned it and looked back down at her book.

"What're you reading?" He asked quietly.

She merely held up the cover.

"Oh" Harry murmured. He went back to glancing around her dorm.

Harry looked at her bedside table and saw a muggle pen. He picked it up and began examining it.

Y/n glanced at him but set down her book and turned to him in excitement when she saw him holding her pen.
