I usually only do bbrae because they're cannon asf! but someone asked if I'd do damirae with a little bbrae added in so I would like to try it out. Also, I'd like to cast Aramis Knight as Damian. Hope you enjoy ✌️
Wally and Gar eating junk food on the counter.
"Could you guys be anymore messy?" Rachel came walking through.
"Don't be a sour face, Rae" Beast boy jokes
"Speaking of which.." Wally tosses a sour gummy worm into Gar's mouth and cheering.
"Sheer talent, guys." Rachel pouring a cup of coffee.
"Come on, rae." Grabbing a gummy worm" let me try you."
"No way."
"Come on! You're missing out." Wally explains
"No thanks!" She walks to her room.
Dick walks into the kitchen. "Guys. Off the table. You're not cats. Plus. Training day."
"What? We're already trained." Wally complained
"Our new guy needs it. Damian."
"Isn't he Batman's son? Meaning.. probably the last guy who needs it?" Gar points out
"Just because you're raised by a vigilante doesn't mean you're ready.. trust me. I know this. " Dick adds
They sigh and head to the training room.
The ground sits and does battle training with picked partners.
"Ok, Wally and Raven. You're up." Dick orders
Raven and Wally start combat and not long til Wally uses his super speed to catch her moves early on. Irritated he is using his abilities for combat she infuses her black magic to constrain him and squeeze him tight while she punches him down.
"Not fair!" Wally gets worked up
"Don't like a taste of your medicine I see" Rachel mocks
"That's.. not the same at all!"
"How?" She crosses her arms
"Because..we'll.." He stutters
"This is something that needs to be set. Your combat skills are important. No matter what you or your opponent are capable of. At any point you can become over powered and it's your human ability that can help in that time." Dick teaches
"Kory and Donna" Dick orders
As the girls fight Wally and Gar talk instead of watching.
"We'll, it looks like he is making his moves now.." Wally whispered watching Damian and Rachel talk
"What?" Gar confused
"He's got a thing for her. He told me when we were training last week."
Gar stood quiet. He always had a thing for her but neglected saying something.
"Great job. Gar, Damian. You're up." Dick ordered
They were given combat sticks and both used it valiantly. They both exercised in karate fluently and barely hit a miss. Gar sneaking a hit to trip him and under his legs causing him to fall and throwing Damian's stick across the floor and pushing his against his throat while Damian is on the floor.
"Okay Gar, reel it on. Good jobs, guys." Dick clapped.
Rachel and Gar in his room and trying to teach him to meditate. He doesn't like it but he is trying to keep her attention from Damian
"So what now?" He interrupts
"Shh"
After a moment Gar makes noises with his mouth.
"I get the feeling you don't actually want to do this." Rachel breaks her focus.
"No. No. I do."
"Gar.. come on. What's going on?" She scoots to him
"It's.. embarrassing.." he hides his face in his hands while resting his elbows on his legs
"But it's me.." She holds his forearm
"Rachel..I.." He stutters Then dick knocks on the door and opens it "Suit up. We got a problem. Bank robbery. There are hostages."
They rush to get ready and head to the place they're needed
Once they're at the scene, Gar transforms into a bird and flaps in the gunmans face to distract him. Nightwing and Damian break in to fight them and Rachel uses her magic to withdrawal their weapons. Once the police come in to make arrests Rachel slips and Damian catches her.
"Wow. Thanks" she looks in his eyes
"Anytime" his soft smile makes her stare a little longer
Gar notices from across the room.
