Rachel is feeling something in the wind but doesn't want to ruin the vibe between her and beast boy because they just got back together
Wally, Gar, Rachel, Rose, and Donna are watching friends while it's a lazy quiet day.
Gar resting his head on Rae'a lap.
"This is boring." Rose lays her head back
"I mean.. at least we get to sit back and enjoy life a bit." Wally eating his chips.
"What about you, Rachel?" Rose asks but Rachel in a trance of her own thoughts
"Huh? Oh.. um well wally has a point." Trying to hide that she feels something in her tell her otherwise
"Hey" Gar sits up "You wanna go out tonight?"
"Sorry, busy." Wally blurts
Donna slaps his arm "I believe he's talking to Raven"
"Heh. I knew that." He goes back to his chips
Gar laughs and playfully nudges Wally's shoulder
"Do what?" Rae asks
"I don't know. Just out. I'm glad there's no bad but rose is right about it being boring here"
She nods "Sure. Why not"
A couple of hours later Gar and Rachel go grab shakes and drive down by the beach and watch the sunset.
"Wow. It's so beautiful. " Rae smiles. "I don't understand.."
"Understand what?"
"How.. trigon could want to destroy this.. Things like sunsets. Rainy Sunday mornings. It's so pure.."
"Well, I'm guessing because he's evil. Nothing like you" he cups her face.
She smiles and blushes. They lean in and embrace a gentle kiss leaning more into one another til Gar holds her close and only kisses her more
He slides off his jacket while still kissing her and Rachel helps him. They both pulled away to look into each other's eyes and lightly smile.
Gar holds her hand and kisses her palm softly looking into her eyes. Rachel cups his face and sees how lucky she is to be where she is.
Gar gets closer to her again and runs his fingers across her cheek letting an energy of desire come between them and they both clashed their lips again in anothers.
Gar's hands in her hair and Rachel's hands on his forearms leaning back. After 20 minutes of embracing each other, nothing more or less. Just feeling each other and embracing that hour together- a cop knocks on the window and spooks them. Rachel hearing a small growl come from him with his bottom fangs out made her wand him more but she being in a paranoid state stood up on her seat in his car
Gar rolled his window down to see it was a patroller. "Can I help you?"
"Yea. The beach is closed. I'm gonna need you to leave" the patroller informed and Gar did so.
Rachel fixing her hair in the mirror as gar starts his car and they drive home
At home
Rachel is tossing in her sleep seeing her dad in his form and Gar wakes up from it beside her.
"Rae?"
"No.. don't." She squirms
"Rachel!" Gar wakes her up and she screams. "Shh. It's just me."
"I'm sorry.." she pants.. "Gar.. I feel something bad coming.."
"Honey, it's just a nightmare."
"No. I've felt it for days. I've just.. been afraid to mess this up."
"This? You mean us?"
"Yea. it's been great. Peaceful. I didn't want that to go away"
"Rae.. we're titans. There's always going to be some ass trying to bring this team apart.. "he holds her hand "but if we stick together, no one has that power."
She smiles and nods. "I hope so." She rests on him as they fall asleep
