As they get to the restaurant Jamie stops them to speak of the rules
"Okay. So things to avoid talking about. Don't mention anything serious. We're still getting used to each other. Secondly, Rachel please refrain from ripping Garfield to pieces."
"Can't promise you that." She mutters
"Hey!" Gar shrugged
"And thirdly, she thinks you guys are a couple so play along" he says quickly.
"What?!" Both being surprised
"It's not like we gotta get married or anything, Rae. Just a quick hour." Gar shrugged and held the door open.
She inhales and exhales and walks in.
After Jamie hugs his girlfriend he introduces Gar and Rachel.
"Hi! I've been wanting to meet you guys for some time now. Jamie has been hiding you."Jesse jokes
"Ah, he's just afraid you'll like me more" Gar jokes back
"Yea right." Jamie and raven rolls their eyes
The four had a nice night during dinner.
"So how did you two meet?" Jesse asks
They both look at each other
"Arcade"
"Bookstore" Rachel answered at the same time and they both looked again.
"I actually saw her at the arcade and followed her into a book store..wait." Gar explaining then realizing what he said was off
Rachel shaking her head.
"I'm not a creep! Just so you know" Gar explaining
Jesse chuckles. "Well, as long you didn't follow her home.. right?"
"No, no."
"I would have sensed him. He's not a good spy." She cocks a brow
"Yea? I followed you to that book store and you seem to be pretty oblivious to it"
"I knew you were there. I could smell you."
His brows lifted "You got jokes?"
Raven chuckles and shrugs before Gar playfully tickles her waist.
Gar and Rachel having a unexpected sweet moment then feeling they're being not themselves and Jamie quickly turns the situation.
"Well, this was fun. I think Gar and Rachel have somewhere to go so you and I could go for a walk."
"Oh yea. We got a- a thing." Gar made up.
"Oh. Well, this was great. I'm really glad I got to meet you guys."
"It was a pleasure meeting you, Jesse." Raven smiles as they part ways
Gar and Rachel walk home. "So.. what do you really think of her?" Gar asks
"I think she's good for him. They seem to have fun together.."
"I think we had fun tonight." Gar points out
"It wasn't so bad"
"Oh come on.." Gar slightly nudges her
"Ok.. We had fun tonight." She smiles
"Maybe we should have more fun..together.." Gar mentions
"Well.. I suppose it wouldn't be the worse thing." She blushes as they walk home together.
