Raven goes into early labor.
Rachel laying back on the bed. She's 7 months in and is trying to have a normal pregnancy other than being an image of darkness, she wants to give her child something she didn't have. A parent that would put their children first and the ability to have freedom.
With her long purple locks and a long t shirt. Gar is fluffing her pillows and putting some under her feet.
"Gar! I'm fine" she laughs
"You know what they say.. can't have enough pillows" he continues and goes to pick her out socks and brings back fuzzy ones
"Oh no. Not those."
"Doctor said they would keep you warm and easy to rest in.. which is what we're doing here remember?"
"Ok.ok." Rachel complied. "Well what am I supposed to do here while you and the team just-"
"I'm not going anywhere. They basically temporarily fired me. As Vic kindly stated. But it's okay.. i'd rather be here with you anyway." He sits with her
"You sure?"
"I promise." He kisses her hand.
She blushes and they sit and read a book of baby names they haven't decided on.
"Amery?" Rae suggests
"Sounds like a plant" gar shrugged. "Gus?"
"I'm gonna assume that's your attempt to make me laugh" Rachel eyeing him
"You got me.." he gulps
"Hey, let's order in from that one place beside the new museum." Rae brought up
"See that's why I know you're my soul mate. Because here my mind was on food, and you bring it up." He kisses her cheek and goes to order
After a few minutes he returns "I will have to go pick it up. They can't deliver. I really don't wanna leave you alone."
She cocks her brow "are you serious? I'm a half demon,hungry, pregnant woman right now. Nothing is more scarier than me."
Gar chuckles. "I guess you're right. It won't be long. I'll fly there." He kisses her cheek
"Just don't lose my food." She snickers at him
After a few minutes Gar has left Rachel received a call through Gar's phone.
"Hello?"
"Rachel? Where's Gar?" Dick panting
"He's out. Why what's wrong?"
"It's deathstroke. He was trying to distract us." Nightwing informs
As Rachel was informed she heard footsteps. She didn't feel Gar's energy. She felt something wasn't right. "Gar?"
"Hi there." Dr. Light comes in. His light was infused to be stronger knowing it is one of ravens weaknesses. "Actually I'm looking for someone. You might know him. Green fellow."
Raven on the floor feeling strained.
"Rachel! Answer! what's wrong?!" "Nightwing through the phone
"But I guess we can wait for him to get home?" Dr Light laughs
"No time." Deathstroke appears.
"We could use her. She's powerless this way" Dr light argues
"She won't be for long."
As they are about to flee raven is retrieved her strength and tries to use it til deathstroke turned and fired a shot.
Rachel stunned by her weakness and fell.
