Raven watching from afar two lovers dancing on the dock while a man plays a violin for them.
She sighs. "It must be nice..To dance that way.. and to dance with anyone period." Her long wet purple hair floating to the top of the water
"Thanks, Garfield." He handed the Violinist some money.
Garfield was a small musician trying to earn enough for his boat to sail.
Raven noticed him more differently than the others. His hair was green, and no one seemed to stare at him oddly.
"Thanks. I appreciate it." Gar took the money and packed his instrument along the beach side to get to his home.
It was a quiet night. No wind. But he heard splashes. He didn't think anything of it til he heard a giggle.
He looked back frightened. saw nothing but saw a blue and purple fin like tail come from the water. He was stunned he'd never seen a fish like that. The moonlight shines upon it. After seeing it had not come back above the water he left home.
Raven popping her head up to see him go. "He looked at me.." she blushed
Raven was bored and non interacting with others. Her friend Rose felt suspicious.
"Rae.. all okay?"
"Hey.. yea I'm great." She tried to smile
"Rae.. I know you."
"Fine." She sighs "do you ever just feel.. you aren't.. yourself. Like this isn't who you were supposed to be."
"Well yea.. all the time. Why?"
"I just wish I could be someone else for just one day.."
Rose swam to her with her orange tail and checked to see if the coast is clear.
"It's just a rumor..but I've heard of a place. Some people say it contains magical objects.. but it's probably a fluke."
"Where is it?"
"If anyone knows, Jinx will."
"Let's go see her." Raven grabbed roses hand
"I don't trust her. There's always a price with her." Rose resisting
"Fine. I'll go alone." Rachel swam off
"Ugh." She swam to her "you are lucky to have me, Rae. Plus you won't know where to find her."
Rose and Rachel find jinx.
"How did you find me?" Jinx suspicious
"You leave crumbs. Maybe if you didn't steal everywhere you went it wouldn't be so easy." Rose sassed
"You know, Rose I could help you lose the other eye if you like" jinx referring to her eye patch
"I think we're above this. We're all sophisticated, powerful and mature. No need to fight to squabble." Raven making them stop fighting
"What did you want?" Jinx leaning up against a rock
"Do you know a place.. of magical objects?" Raven asks quietly
"Magic? You have magic. Why are you searching for it?"
"I can say a spell but it's not strong enough"
"Stop feeding her information. Do you know the place or not?" Rose lashed out
"Sure.. I can take you.. Raven." She looks over at rose entailing she isn't invited
"Why not rose?" Raven suspicious
"If it's not obvious enough I can't trust her. This place is kind of a big deal and those who are not magical shouldn't be near it"
"She's for a point." Raven agreed
"Are you serious?"
"It's nothing personal. I just want to look around and I'll be back. I promise." Raven held her shoulder
"Fine. Just be careful.. and don't trust her." She muttered
