Requested. Beast boy and raven are adults with their children and their eldest is going out with her boyfriend to a party.
Rayana in her room putting on her ear rings wearing her half top of Iron Maiden and black jeans with tears revealing her fish nets.
*knock knock*
"Come in." Rayana answers
"Um.. going someplace?" raven concerned
"Yes. I told you last week, Daniel and I are going to a party and you said it was okay as long as he was there"
"Right.. but like is this like a.. close friends party or.."
"It's like a you already told me i could go kind of party" she sasses
Raven held back the desire to humble the attitude but remembers herself at that age.. and possibly even now.
"You know I'm understanding..and I want you to have your freedom but I want you to be careful.. your powers are still-" raven cut off
"Unpredictable? I know mom. Just let me have fun tonight. Please?" She uses her puppy eyes she got from her father to convince her
"Fine..just be safe. And call if anything is fishy." She hugs her
As Rayana walks down the stairs toward the front door to avoid her family seeing her. Her little brother, Alexander sees her. "Raya's where you going?!" He yells
"Shit" she mumbled. "Go away." She whispers
"Raya?" Gar comes through the hall. His eyes widen. "Where you going at this hour?" Crosses his arms
"Ask mom." As she tries to open the door again.
He uses his arm as a snake to close it again. "I'll ask again..Where are you going?" Gars tone changes
She sighs. "A friends house."
"Why was that so hard to say?"
"I don't know. Can I go now?" Getting impatient
Raven comes downstairs "Gar, she'll be with Daniel, and they'll be back by 9." Raven unknowingly spilt the tea which rayana didn't want to say to her dad
"A friend? So more than a friend?" Gar now not wanting to trust it
"Thanks mom"
"Okay, Gar let her go out. She rarely does." Raven trying to level with Gar who isn't as easy to convince
"No. They'll be boys, booze and I don't want to think about what else"
"Yea, no one says booze anymore and it's not like I'd drink it!" She exclaims
Gar softly growling and feeling upset until raven comforts him by cupping his face. "Can we not trust her?"
He sighs "yea.. I just don't trust the world" Gar saddened his child is growing up
"Be home by 9. Or I'm coming for you myself." He rolls his eyes
"Thank you!" She hugs him and leaves to her boyfriends car.
"I know that took a lot for you." Rachel hugged him from behind.
"Yea yea" he sighs
"Daddy can we play again?" The twins holding up a game board.
He picks up the little girl, Freya over his shoulder and heads to the living room.
Rachel smiles and just hopes Rayana will be okay.
2 hours later
Gar looking out the window. "She should be here"
"Gar, it's just turned 9:01. You really think she was gonna be here on the dot?"
"Yea. I do. Because I said so!" Growling and pacing the floors.
"She didn't answer. Maybe i should ride over there." Raven says
"Allow me." Gar opens the door and shifts into a bat.
Rachel sighs and goes to check on the twins.
At the party
Gar finds the house and sees lights on still and Daniels car still there. He flies through a window and becomes a bug so no one will recognize him. He sees a local high schooler trying to get rayana to smoke
"Nope. My dad would smell that a mile away on me." She denies it
"Don't make excuses. Just try it."
Gar deciding to buzz in the friends ear to scare her.
"Ah! Get off me!" She screams
"Well, I gotta go.. " Rayana finds a way to leave. "Daniel? Let's go. I wanna go home." Daniel doing shots with his friends. "You ass! You know I don't have my license. How are we going to get home?!"
Daniel too buzzed to care she leaves the house and calls her dad but no answer. He walks from behind some bushes "Oh hey, ray."
"I knew it! That was you wasn't it?" Rayana whispers
"What? I don't know what you're talking about.. but I'm very proud of you." Gar reluctantly smiles
She sighs. "You spied on me?" Rayana upset
"No. Just that part yes, but I'm glad you have a smart brain."
"Yea well.. I wasn't having that great of a time. It was cool til Daniel started being annoying.
"Well.. let's get you home.." he puts his arm around her and walks her home "you know I could turn into a elephant and crush him if you like"
"Dad" giving him a flare
"Okay.. okay. Maybe a kangaroo and kick him til he pukes all that beer up?"
She laughs "Leave it alone, dad"
