I hear my phone ping from its location across the room in my handbag. I lazily pull my tired self out of the office chair and walk to my handbag across the room.

I dig around for it as it pings again, signalling that I have gotten a text again from someone.

I finally find my phone tucked away in the bottom of my very unorganized bag that Klaus calls my "yard"  because it has everything I need that you would find at home.

I unlock my phone and go straight to WhatsApp seeing Klaus' chat at the top. I open the message between us and a  wide smile immediately spreads across my face making the terrible day I have been having not seem so bad.

His texts reads
"Picking you up from work in the next 10 minutes, want to take you out for dinner"

I reply with a WhatsApp sticker of a girl dancing to which he replies laughing.

I get together my things and put them in my bag, making sure to not leave anything behind as I won't be coming back to the office until Monday.

I look over the files once more making sure that everything is good and sign out my name.

I grab my things when I receive a text from Klaus saying that he is outside waiting on me.

I bid my aunt goodbye and walk to Klaus' car parked in the parking lot.

I open the front passenger side door and take a seat throwing my handbag into the back seat.

"Evening," I say as I pull the seatbelt and close it.

"Ohh, mi just did ago tell yuh fi come out a mi car, cause mi a wonda how yuh come in yah and nuh seh evening" I roll my eyes at his statement knowing damn well him wouldn't tell mi fi come out.

"Klaus nuh badda wit it" I sigh.

I stood so much today as I was working over the pharmaceutical side of my aunt's doctor's office.

There wasn't any time for me to sit as orders came in like crazy from online and in personal pick-up line was also long as she sells medication for a discounted price than what it is normally sold for.

"Wah do yuh," he asks as he slides his hand over into my lap and rests it on top of mine.

He has become so affectionate.

His eyes move back and forth from the road to me.

"Nothing, I am just tired" I recline the seat to make myself more comfortable and slowly drift off to sleep.

"Wake up," Klaus says shaking me gently.

I rub my tired eyes as a yawn escapes my mouth.

"Jah know yuh mouth big ennuh, see why yuh love chat some much" he laughs as he walks to the door of the house.

I walk behind slowly too tired to even argue with him as I would usually do.

He picks up on this and asks me again if I am okay to which I honestly reply Yes.
