Merry Christmas I guess.
Mum kinda pissed me off. Asked for my wishlist, wanted to know what kind of clothes I wanted. I told her I specifically wanted specific clothes and she turns around and buys something else saying "I think you'll look better in these".
I sound ungrateful but I literally would have only gotten clothes from her compared to everyone else.
She got everyone cheap necklaces too, you can tell by the chain and the poor quality of pendent.
All this year told me is that she doesn't know me and wouldn't get me what I wanted even if it's served on a silver platter.
And I'm allowed to be pissed.
I bought her an $80 kitchen set and I payed for a large majority of the stocking stuffers. I payed $100+ for Everton because fuck going to a cheaper place for his shit right. Whatever. Doesn't matter. I'm being selfish.
Fuckin whatever.
Maybe I'm just upset because I was expecting a thank you. I spent a lot of money on everyone and while yes I have received gratitude from my friends, you'd think my family would say thank you at least once.
It irks me really.
