I know Sabito was like.. 13 but just pretend that it's not weird at all.

“Sabitooo..!” You call his name looking up at the split boulder that Sabito was on top of.

“Yeah?” Sabito hopped down from the boulder, crossing his arms as he raised a brow.

You hesitate for a moment, swaying back and forth for a while before getting the courage to speak.

“This is for you.” You pull a basket you crafted from behind your back, filled with things like food and comfort items.

“Aw, what's this for?” Sabito smiled, hugging the basket.

“For Final Selection, silly!” You nudge Sabito's arm playfully.

“Thanks Y/N.” Sabito nodded, setting the basket down after he ate a snack out of the basket.

“Happy I can help!” You smile brightly as Sabito slightly blushes at your appearance.

“Even though Final Selection isn't till another 2 days, you're worried about me?” Sabito questioned.

“Of course! You're my best buddy, I couldn't let anything happen to you!” You hug Sabito as you both have a visible blush on your faces.

“You got my back, so I'm returning the favor.” You squeeze his torso before letting go.

“Okay, getting too soft now. You gotta be on guard always!” Sabito kicked your foot, causing you to lose your balance.

“Heey, Sabito!” You narrow your eyes at him, acting like you're mad.

“Am I wrong, though?” Sabito nudged your arm, smiling.

“Yeah, yeah. We should rest now.” You rub your arm.

“Already? It's too early to rest!” Sabito replied quickly, looking over his shoulder.

“Mr. Urokodaki said so.” You say, leaning against the boulder.

“I don't see him here, so let's stay up longer.” Sabito shrugged.

“It's your fault if we get in trouble.” You bump his shoulder as you walk past him.

Time Skip

“Sabito, don't do anything dumb in Final Selection. I'm serious.” You warn him.

“Y/N, you worry too much, I'll be back before you know it.” Sabito waved his hand at you.

“Please, be careful.” You hugged Sabito one last time.

“I will! I promise.” Sabito nodded, rubbing your head.

You swat his hand away from your head playfully.
“Alright. See you soon.”

“See ya soon, cutie!” You hear Sabito's faint voice as he walks farther away.

“For the next 7 days..”

“..Please let Sabito be safe.”
