Akaza | In Love With A Demon

You were just sent out to behead a nearby demon around the area of the mansion.

You are a emotional, empathetic person who cares about people and even demons. With a big heart like yours, it was very easy to befriend people.

"It's getting cold out here.." You'd mutter under your breath as visible puffs of air escape your mouth. Your kasugai crow was above you, in the air looking for the demon as well.

Getting past the trees and bushes, you spotted a figure next to a tree. When you approached them, you found out it was a badly shaped demon slayer. You rushed to help them in need.

"Go get help. There might be others here." You quickly said to your crow as they nodded, flying off.

Your gaze went back to the poor slayer. "Apply pressure to your wounds. Stop the bleeding if possible." You told them with a bit of a panic under your breath.

Thank goodness I found them in time. The only reason why this person is hurt might be because of the demon. You'd bite your tongue, repeating the same thing you said to the slayer again before walking off.

A few minutes go by as you spot another figure in one of the trees. It had your eyes locked on you, telling by the yellow gleaming eyes. You'd grasp your sword as the demon showed itself.

You saw a bit of hesitation on the striped demon, in one of it's eyes, it read upper 3. In a heartbeat, the striped demon fled the scene. You began to follow them, picking up the pace in your running. They're fast, but why would they run from me?

You eventually spot and catch the striped demon. "Hey, you." You'd inhale. "Why would you run instead of fight? Aren't you an uppermoon?" You gave a small head tilt.

"I don't fight women." The striped demon answered sternly. A small giggle escaped your mouth. "I never heard of a demon that respects a gender race before!" You'd give a smile to the upper rank.

You felt a little regret stop you from beheading the striped demon due to your pure and kind soul. You hesitated, inhaling through your teeth. "What's your name?" You'd ask.

"Akaza." Akaza answered. You paused as a slight pink formed on your face. You'd eye the ground for a moment, pounding your head with your balled up fist. Get it together, he's a demon. He eats people. You'd lift your head. But, a handsome one.

"Hmmm, look. I'll spare your life, buuut..." You'd pause as Akaza listened closely, eyeing you. "Do what I say." You finished your words. Akaza froze. "Are you blackmailing me..?" Akaza questioned with a squint. "No, no! I'm not, don't worry." You quickly replyed.

Akaza growled under his breath. "Fine." He'd answer as your face lit up with a smile, causing the striped demon to slightly blush a pink. "Okay! I gotta hide you from others of course, but stand still real quick." You'd blink as Akaza froze with no questions.

You'd walk around him, observing his appearance. You'd quickly throw your arms on his shoulders, hugging him from his back. "Another request. Don't hurt others." You'd pat his back before letting go. Akaza let out a sigh, regretting this deal he'd make, though his life was on the line.

Days went by on this deal, others were concerned about you heading out almost every night. You kept spilling lie after lie about it. Though, spend time with a demon seems weird enough, you both developed a small bond together.

"Akaza." You'd get his attention as you both sat next to a tree, big enough to hide you both. "Hm." He'd turn his head towards your direction. "I know this is weird, slayer and demon together and all but.." You paused, taking a breath.

"I really adore you, Akaza." You'd lean against his body, snuggling his pinkish opened vest. Akaza wrapped one of his arms around your back. "I do too." Akaza answered with a whisper.

You dozed off on Akaza's shoulder, eventually making your way to his lap. He'd keep a close eye on the sky staying awake just in case of sunrise.
