"Hey. We should go now." Obanai looked over his shoulder, sheathing his sword. "Oh, right.." You'd lift your head, nodding.

You met Obanai during the time you almost let your life slip past your fingers to a demon. Every since that day, you fell in love. Deep love.

You're very clingy towards Obanai, probably doing whatever it takes to spend a little time with him. It'll take some time for Obanai to get comfortable around you.

You'd hum a small tune, walking beside your lover. He'd eye you with an annoyed look. "Could you stop it?" Obanai huffed. You slowly nodded, doing as told.

You two just finished your mission together that was sent by Kagaya. Obanai didn't have time to argue with you, and probably would be caught dead if he argued with the master.

Obanai picked up the speed in his legs as you followed. "Where is the.." Obanai muttered under his breath, looking around the forest. "Oh no, are we lost..?" You questioned Obanai with a concerned tone.

Obanai slightly shook his head side to side, walking forward again. Though you guys were a bit lost, you have more time to spend with Obanai. Kaburamaru was a bit smart himself. He caught on to your obsession for Obanai quickly, and kept it to himself.

You'd trip on your foot, causing you to fall forwards on the snake pillar. You quickly get on your feet as a visible blush spreads on your face. "Sorry.." You'd apologize.

Obanai didn't respond to your word. "We need to go." The snake pillar grumbled, walking over to a tree. Obanai grasped the tree with his hands, beginning to climb it. You'd lean against the tree, looking up at Obanai. He's talented... You thought with a small smile.

Obanai hopped down from the tree, bumping you a little from the fall. You'd pause, looking a bit shooken. "C'mon. Get yourself together. I found our way back." Obanai said coldly, walking past you.

The next day arose, meaning another chance to confess to your love. You'd walk around the mansion and the garden, looking for the snake pillar.

You found Obanai up in a higher place. A tree. He'd have his eyes closed, resting his body as Kaburamaru stayed alert. The white snake spotted you, blinking curiously.

"Obaaaanai?" You'd call his him with a faint smile appearing on your face. Yiu saw a bit of movement in the tree. Obanai peeked his head out a little. "What..?" He'd respond with a disappointed groan.

Your confidence felt like it got drained out of your body. You'd inhale. "Could you... come down here please?" You'd question with a head tilt. Obanai didn't respond, but did slowly climb down the tree.

"I was thinking we shoooould..." You'd pause as Obanai shivered a slight disgust over the word 'we.' You noticed you had to take deeper breaths as your heart pounded against your chest. You'd stare at his two colored toned eyes, finding the right words to say.

"Stop hesitating. And spit it out." Obanai huffed. You felt your heart sink a little at his harsh words. You'd clear your throat. "Go to a parade?" You'd question, immediately opening your mouth for more words. "I seen one coming up this week and, if you interested..?" You'd blink as Obanai didn't respond quickly.

You felt a press on your shoulder, turning around you spotted the love pillar, Mitsuri. "Guys! Did you hear?" Mitsuri got both of your attentions with her energetic tone of voice. "There's a new parade coming up this week! All the Hashira are going to be there! Isn't that great?" Mitsuri let out a small cheering for the parade.

"Right." You'd nod, eyeing Obanai. He didn't make contact with you, nor the love pillar. Your heart ached for a while as you grasped your chest with your hand. "I'm not going. I don't really feel too well.. sorry." You'd turn to Mitsuri, spilling a small lie to her.

Mitsuri let out a small whine. "Awww, okay..." She'd pause, looking at you drag towards the mansion. "M...Make sure you get plenty of rest and water! Get well soon!" Mitsuri raised her voice, making sure you heard her requests.

At least someone cares about me. You'd think, laying on top on one of the white beds. You'd stuff your face into the pillow, catching your emotions. About a few minutes of sulking in silence, you heard a knocking sound, though the door was wide open.

You'd turn around, lifting your head to find Obanai in the doorway. "Obanai..!" You'd catch your gasp, staying still. "What are you doing her-"

"Hey." Obanai cut off your words, walking towards you. "Seriously, what is wrong with you? Your acting strange."

You'd hesitate. Tapping your fingers against your thigh as your pulse rapidly pounded. "Obanai, I don't know if it was obvious from the start but..." You'd look up from the floor. "I deeply love you." You'd let a smile appear on your face.

"Oh." Obanai paused with a blink. You seen a bit of pink under his mask. Karabumaru gave a look of slight smirk to Obanai. Obanai sat down next to you, opening his mouth, but no words came out. You'd hug the available side of him, clinging onto the snake pillar.

You'd pat Karabumaru's head, showing him some affection as well. "Well, Y/N. I love you too." He'd lower his voice, tensing up a bit. "Awwh." Your smile gotten bigger. "Relax. There's nothing to worry about now." You told Obanai, putting your weight on his body.

"I can't really if your leaning all your weight against me." Obanai responded, shaking his head. You'd let out a small scoff with a smile. "Stop overeating." You'd give a small kiss on the side of the snake pillar's face.

"Rest well. You'll need it." Obanai muttered, hugging you close.
