~*~ “Okay.. I gotta do something else.” You mutter under your breath, speaking to yourself as you shut your eyes for a moment. You were currently laying on your bed, an unfinished, open book next to you.
You eventually rise to your feet, closing the door behind you. As soon as you step foot outside of your room, your ears are greeted by the sound of loud noises.
Startled by the abnoxious yelling, you look around the corner to find the Shinazugawa brothers arguing a bit. You eye Genya which looks a bit stressed out, probably due to the fact his brother is yelling at him non stop.
As the Shinazugawa brothers spot you practically spying on them, they both pause, Sanemi giving you a squint to his eyes, Genya lowering his head a bit.
You back away a bit, holding your breath. Sanemi passed you with a menacing aura towards him. You slightly shiver, walking over to Genya after Sanemi left the scene.
“Genya? Are you alright?” You ask in a soft tone of voice, Genya took a glance at you as tears ran down the sides of his face. “Ah! Genya what's wrong? Please talk to me..” You flinch at his sudden cry act, quickly comforting him.
“I'm sorry..” Genya muttered under his sobbing, rubbing his head. You give him a quick hug, patting his back. “Don't worry.” You gave a faint smile, glancing at the piece of paper infront of him, filled with numbers and math equations.
You pause, looking at Genya again. “Do you.. need help with your math problems?” You question Genya as he froze, slightly embarrassed. Genya eventually gave a slow nod, exhaling. “Okay!” Your smile got bigger as you sat down next to him.
You and Genya spend a few minutes on each math problem, and sometimes take breaks for a few minutes as well. You take your time and stay patient with Genya during each problem.
“Then.. add 12 to that number and divide.” You told Genya as he gave a nod, doing the work on a separate sheet of paper. Genya definitely had a better experience with you, than his brother.
Genya hesitantly showed his work to you, dipping his head as he showed uncertainty in his answer. “That's correct! Great job!” You give him a small cheering, patting him in the shoulder. Genya showed a faint smile. “Thank you..” He muttered.
“See? Look! You're almost done!” You encourage Genya, giving him the motivation to finish the sheet. “You sure you don't need my help?” You questioned, a bit surprised. “I'm alright, thank you.” Genya gave a smile, working on the rest.
You eventually look over it to only find one incorrect. Luckily, Genya didn't get upset about it and fixed the minor problem. “Aaaand you're done!” You show him your hand, expecting him to give you a high five. He eventually does hesitantly.
“Hey, Y/N?” Genya got your attention. “Thank you.. for everything.” Genya gave a full smile as you nod, nudging him on the shoulder. “It was nothing, honestly!” You let out a chuckle, Genya sighing. “You should be a teacher.” Genya said as you paused, shaking your head. “Noo, I possibly can't..” You sway your body side to side, a bit flattered.
“C'mon, let's get something to eat. I'm starving, honestly.” You rub Genya's mohawk styled hair playfully as you rise to your feet, Genya quickly following you.
