~*~ You slide the door to your room, flopping on your bed. Your face meets the pillow with a slightly rough slam. You clench your eyes, trying to rest your body.
You were tired, but couldn't doze off yet. There was two knocks on your door as you lift your head up with a grumble. “Hold on..” You reply, dragging yourself off of your bed.
You slide your door to find Kokushibo infront of you. Caught off guard by his appearance, you catch your gasp. “Oh, Kokushibo..! Hello..” You give him a smile, clearing your throat. About a few seconds of silence between you two occurs. “So, um.. anything you need?” You ask.
Kokushibo narrowed his eyes, forgetting what he was about to say. You try your best to maintain your balance and stay awake. “Could.. I come in..” Kokushibo questioned in a low tone. You hesitate, taking a breath. You give him a nod, sliding your door all the way.
You and Kokushibo always been great friends. You two were in the middle of an dating era as well. So, turning down offers from him would be pretty difficult for you. You sat on your bed, leaning your back against the wall as you close your eyes.
Kokushibo caught on to your tiredness, quietly sitting beside you. “You could.. lay on my lap if needed..” He suggested in a gentle tone, grabbing your pillow and setting it on his lap. You gave a nod, not aware of your actions at this time.
You lay on the upper one's lap, trying your best to doze off. Kokushibo lifted his head, observing your room. He began to rest his eyes, taking another glance at you.
A few minutes go by as you struggle once again to fall asleep. You grumble in annoyance, trying to change your sleeping position. Kokushibo opened a few of his eyes, looking at you. He tapped your back, getting your attention. “Nightmare?” He questioned as you shook your head.
“Can't fall asleep..?” The upper one blinked. You gave a nod, gently huffing. Kokushibo gave a half nod, rubbing your back. Kokushibo let out a quiet sigh, shaking his head to himself. You sit up. “Nevermind. I can stay awake.” You cuddled your pillow. Kokushibo gave a nod, slowly pulling your pillow away from you.
Instead, he replaced the pillow with himself to cuddle. You lean against his chest, hugging his side. He gave a soft hug back, rest his head on top of yours.
You eventually did doze off, leaving Kokushibo with his thoughts. He left you be, loosening his cuddle. Kokushibo fluffed the pillow, setting it next to you so you wouldn't fall over. The uppermoon slid open your door, a faint smile on his face before he silently exited the room.
~*~ A pretty short chapter. Kokushibo's starting to grow on me...
