Ever since I read and watched Genya and Sanemi's backstory, I've grown emotionally attached to them.

You were great at handling any sort of gun. Your main hobby was to hunt for animals. Some days were luckier than the others. You hunt for animals to mostly sell them for money, or make foods out of them.

You actually taught Genya how to control and aim his Nichirin Gun. You guys met at the Butterfly Mansion when Genya was pretty injured, you volunteered to tend his wounds.

You guys almost did everything together. Genya's big brother, Sanemi kept an eye on you, but he wasn't that paranoid. Forming a friendly bond that could turn into more than a friend.

"Okay, so aim for it like this.." You'd keep your voice low, looking at Genya as you set up the gun you hunt for animals with. You decided to teach him how to control a shotgun now. Genya nodded with an awkward smile.

"Got it?" You questioned. Genya exhaled, slowly nodding. You'd pat him on the back, making him flinch a little. "You got this..!" You smiled, giving him some support. "..Alright." Genya kneeled down next to the gun, picking it up.

Genya held his breath looking for any signs of animals around. About a couple of minutes went by and eventually a rabbit appeared. Without hesitation, Genya pressed the trigger, causing the gun to fire with a loud and big 'BLAM! BLAM!' sound.

The woods were silent. Genya finally exhaled, looking at you with a blink. "Did I do it?" Genya asked. "Let's go find out." You rose to your feet as Genya repeated your action. You stopped in your tracks, waiting for Genya to catch up.

"You were too fast." You sighed, looking at the ground that had two bullets resting on top. You'd pick them up, putting them in your pocket. "Sorry.." Genya apologized, dipping his head to the ground with a disappointed sigh.

You'd give a smile to Genya, giving a small hug. "There's no reason to apologize for that, it was great for your first try!" You lifted his chin up with your finger, making Genya look at you. You both form a light pink color that spreads on your face. Though, Genya had a more visible blush.

You cleared your throat, moving on. "We still have more bullets left. Let's try again!" You'd speed walk to your gun, waiting for Genya. You tried not to make it obvious you deeply adore and love Genya, but you were terrible about hiding the truth. You both were.

Genya kneeled down next to you, watching your demonstration again. "So, you might have to tilt it a little if you're having trouble aiming it." You'd bite your tongue, eyeing Genya. "Or, you have to just take your time. There's no rush." You smiled, setting the gun down.

"Now, you try..!" You'd move out of his way, gently patting his shoulder. "Okay.." Genya muttered, contracting and waiting patiently for the animals to appear again. You both had no bait to lure the animals out with, besides it feels weird to do that.

You'd stare at Genya for awhile, noticing your action for a moment. You'd look away with a pink blush. You'd fidget with your hands when a sudden sound of the gunshot from the gun startles you. "Ah!" You'd slightly move, looking at Genya with your eyes widened for a moment.

Genya looked at you nervously. "I'm sorry! I did it too late, didn't I?" Genya spat out his words in a rush, clenching his hands. You'd shake your head. "It's fine. I was just a bit startled, that's all." You calmed your body down, giving him a small smile again. Genya nodded, checking on the results.

You wait for Genya to return. Eventually, he rushed over to you with a small bunny with a smile. "Look!" You paused, looking at the bunny. "Wow, Genya! That's great!" You'd rise to your feet, giving him a hug. "What did I tell you? Never give up." You let out a small giggle, messing with Genya's hair.

Genya stood quietly as you took the bunny from him. You dropped the bunny in your bucket of animals. "Not a bad catch compared to mine." You'd pause, looking behind your shoulder to find Genya blushing a blushy mess. You'd sigh under your breath. "Hey, Genya. Can I tell you something?"

Genya hesitated, eventually nodding. He'd put his hands behind his back, standing up straight, avoiding eye contact. You'd hug his arm. "You probably already knew this, but I deeply love you." You'd confess quickly, not wasting time. Genya paused, eyeing you.

You'd look at him, waiting for a response. You felt Genya's body slightly shake uncontrollably. You look at him in the eyes concerningly. "Something wrong?"

"No, it's just that..." Genya paused, almost choking on his words. He'd take in a deep breath. "I love you too, Y/N." You were always the first one to make a first move in things, compared to Genya. Though, hearing him confess for the first time made you sigh with relief.

You'd let out a chuckle. "I knooow.." Genya paused, looking at you once more. "You... knew?"

"It was very obvious, Gen Gen." You'd gently tap his chest. Genya inhaled through his teeth. "It was??"

"Don't worry, though." You'd rub against the right side of his body. "We should head back anyways." You'd mutter. Genya nodded, holding your free hand as you both walked together peacefully.

I'm serious about the emotionally attached thing. I drew three Genya art collages. :')

Have an amazing day!
