10K reads! Holy shrimp! 10K. It's like 1,000 times what I thought I'd ever get. I never expected to get past 10. And now, god I feel like I'm worth the space and air I breath. Seriously though, you guys make me feel like I deserve to be a person and I thank you so much for that. For 10K reads I'm going to write a smut to sequel Chicken. Yep, now I've got to do it Vic. Be happy! This was requested by imadubstepkitty (my autocorrect knows you now xD) a long time ago. But here it is!
Oh yeah, there's gonna be some gore towards the beginning.

A fist collided with his face, knocking a few teeth out of place. He quickly spit them out and they sat in a puddle of blood. His eyes widened as he began to taste the metallic liquid in his mouth. His attacker grabbed his wounded jaw and sent another punch into his nose. He groaned as he grabbed his bloody face. He felt a knee go straight into his groin and collapsed down. Feet began to be thrown into his ribs and stomach. This continued to the point that he had to turn on his side to not drown in his own blood. The kicks continued as he curled into a ball. This attacker drove his heel into his extended hand. He screamed and his attacker smirked.
"Bad Preston. What have I told you about yelling f*g (hate that word more than I hate society. And that's a lot)?" The attacker growled to the one upon the floor. The young boy, Preston, whimpered as an apology. He received a kick to the face which caused him to groan. He heard soft footsteps approaching and his attacker ran off. Preston was fighting against the grasp of unconsciousness. The footsteps hurried in the direction until they grumbled and gasped. He felt the footsteps approaching and caught a glimpse of his rescuer: Rob, also known as his crush.
He awoke later in a hospital bed. He groaned as his eyes tried to adjust to the light.
"Preston! Oh thank god you're okay! What's wrong?" Rob's voice rushed over the words.
"Lights. I just woke up man. You're worse than my mom was." Preston groaned. Rob laughed and squeezed his hand.
"I can turn them down." A feminine voice responded. Preston slowly opened his eyes to eye his and Rob's intertwined hands. He looked up to Rob who just nodded, meaning he'll explain later. Preston's eyes then floated over to his usual nurse.
"Hey Sara. Nice to see you again." Preston said in a sarcastic tone. Rob squeezed his hand harshly.
"Preston." Rob scolded. Sara laughed as Preston looked confused.
"I don't think I introduced myself. I'm Sara. I'm Preston's nurse every time he gets hospitalized. It's just tradition now." Rob looked confused for a second before he realized what he'd done wrong.
"Sorry Preston." Rob grumbled. Preston smiled and rubbed his thumb over his knuckles. Sara turned down the lights slightly and Preston stopped squinting from the brightness. She laughed and walked back over to Preston.
"I'm just gonna run the usual tests. Sounds good?" Sara asked as he raised his bed up slightly. Preston nodded and Sara began her usual poking and prodding. Rob sat there holding Preston's hand the whole time, squeezing his hand slightly when it should have hurt. The boy never flinched or showed any signs of pain however. "Looks great Preston. Well, as good as it's ever been. Call me if you need anything." Sara said as she scribbled something down on her clipboard.
"Thanks Sara. Tell me if anything strange shows up in the blood work?" Preston said as she exited the room. She chuckled and turned back towards him.
"Don't I always Preston?" She turned back to the door, shutting it behind her. Preston shook his head and let out a sigh.
"Will you now explain why you're holding my hand?" Preston asked as he looked to Rob.
"They told me only family could come in here and so I said I was your boyfriend and they let me in." Rob answered as he removed his hand from Preston's. Preston's hand felt cold from the loss of touch and curled into a fist in response. "Is that going to cause a problem?" Preston shook his head no and glanced out the window. "Why were you beaten up on the floor of your house Preston?" Rob asked quietly. Preston felt the hot tears begin to well in his eyes. He couldn't tell Rob, it'd be the end of their friendship. But he couldn't lie about it either.
"Well, um. There's something I haven't told you yet Rob." Preston said as he glanced towards the door instead of Rob.
"What? What's wrong?" Rob asked, a nervous tone in his voice. Preston began to sob with his face towards the door.
"I'm- I'm-" Preston felt a sickening pain in his stomach and he gasped out. He groaned and curled into a tight ball. "Call for Sara. The red-" he was cut off by another wave of pain, this time spreading to his chest as well. Rob had already grabbed the remote with the red button and was talking to the nurse's station.
"He said that his nurse was always Sara. Yes, that's him. Please send someone down." Rob spoke into the remote. The room door swung open to Sara and a doctor close behind.
"Preston. There's something wrong with your rib cage. It broke into something important. Your blood levels aren't right. We gotta get you to surgery. Come on." Sara said as she moved all the machines so she could bring them down to his surgery room.
"I'm sorry Nurse, but you mustn't come along." The doctor said as more people came in to push the equipment. She was going to protest until she realized that meant she'd be able to keep the boy company. She knew he wasn't actually Preston's boyfriend, he would have told her. He had just been in the day before last and texted her often about life. She was basically his dump for all news and gossip and rants. And she was perfectly ok with that cause he did the same for her. She nodded and walked over to Rob.
"Come along, we can go wait in the waiting room. I can even get you to the one outside the operation hall." Sara offered as she signaled to the door of the now empty room. Rob nodded distantly and she sighed. "He's strong. He'll make it out okay. You're Rob aren't you?" Sara asked as she held her hands on his shoulders. He looked at her and nodded. "Ha. Preston talks about you most the time while he's here. He's constantly on about how awesome and sweet you are. It's quite adorable actually." Sara said as the two began to walk out of the room. Rob held the door open for her and she smiled.
"How so?" Rob asked curiously.
"The way his eyes and face light up at the mention of you, how much he mindlessly compliments you, how excited he seemed that you were holding his hand. He's told me in the past that you're part of the reason he wants to leave the hospital. Just to see you again. That's also probably why he hasn't killed himself." Sara added the last part quietly. Rob soaked it all in. He was astonished as to how he hadn't noticed.
"He- he looks forward to me?" Sara laughed and nodded at the statement. "Wait, did you say kill himself? Has he been beaten up before? And to the point where he'd want to kill himself?" Rob asked nervously.
"I won't let him Rob. No fear. And yeah, Preston's in here a lot. He told me why but I think he'd want to tell you himself." Sara said as they arrived in the room and sat down.
"O- okay. I need to sleep, can you wake me if anything important happens?" Rob asked as he shifted in the seat. Sara nodded and chuckled as he fell asleep. Preston had definitely fallen for a keeper.
Rob was awoken a few hours later to a worried Sara. "What's wrong Sara?"
"He's awake, but in the ICU. He's been through surgery but had to stay there for his rehab. Apparently his ribs stabbed through part of his stomach and his heart. He lived a miracle and is still alive. Do you want to go see him?" Rob quickly stood up and followed her to Preston. He arrived to see the younger arguing with a nurse.
"No. I want Rob and Sara." He spoke stubbornly.
"I said no friends sir." The nurse replied. "Anything else you want?" She asked, irritated with Preston.
"Yes. I want Rob and-"
"We're here Preston. Don't irritate the poor girl too much." Sara said before turning to the nurse. "I'm his personal nurse Sara and this is his boyfriend Rob." Sara explained. The older nurse scoffed at the word boyfriend.
"Ah, so you're a f*g. Makes much more sense now." The nurse spat. Preston flinched away and Rob was held back by Sara.
"And I see you're a low-life Christian extremist." Sara spat back before pushing the woman out the door. "B*tch. She deserved a few punches." Sara groaned before rushing to Preston. "She's stupid and didn't mean it, okay?"
"She absolutely meant it. All I am is a gay suicidal whiner who is in love with his best friend." Preston groaned and then his face flushed a deep red. "I- I mean." Preston stuttered. Rob walked over and stopped his with his finger to Preston's lips.
"You're beaten cause you're gay aren't you?" Preston nodded at the words. "And you love me?" Preston nodded again. Sara stepped back and smiled widely. Rob removed his finger and replaced it with his lips. His lips were dry and slightly hoarse, but thy still felt amazing against his own. Sara eventually squealed which brought the kiss to an end. "I love you too Preston."

Woo. I'm exhausted so sorry if the ending sucked. Bai, Peace my cheeses!
