Plot Hole 2: An Off-Screen Solution That's Also Ignored
It is a solution more real for the screen characters but remains off screen for us the audience or readers reading it. But the characters fail to embrace it as early as they should have, Skylights.

Why did the original Winx Show wait to reveal such a thing as the Water Stars in Season 3 in episode 21 it is and was such a stupid decision it directly contradicts all the knowledge Flora and Tecna would have from their school class notes of Professor Wizgis' classes that talked about opposites. They never said they didn't learn about the water stars so they very well could have and introducing this sooner would have made more room for Nabu and Aisha's relationship to have more screen-time that wasn't based on meeting in a constant crisis. Say what you want about the Nick shows at least they keep the power rules consistence during the plots of Season 4 & Season 5. But these two mistakes in the original show are unforgivable it shows lazy writing from the original writers. And it docks Season 3's impact for me as a favorite Season, Skylights.

I hate this plot hole above all others because it makes Tecna looker stupidier than we've seen her to be

I hate this plot hole above all others because it makes Tecna looker stupidier than we've seen her to be. Thankfully the writers of later Seasons like 6 & 7 & 8 don't ignore their power rules ever again, Skylights. So obviously someone in the writing department must have noticed these huge writing errors in Season 3 and made sure it didn't happen ever again.

An easy off-screen solution exists but characters fail to embrace it. This yes once again to do with Winx Season 3 and is another major storytelling problem. They introduced the research of the Water Stars too late. Why is Tecna researching about them when she shouldn't have to, because in Season 2 it was said that Wizgis' class was all about learning about the magic of your opposite's powers. Clearly they would have known that the Water Stars exist and worked against Dragonflame considering Alfea is the only magic school that tries to add history intertwined into their normal magic classes every now and then. Again this and the Fairydust issues are the reasons I have never enjoyed Season 3 they break it up and make the show's most significant season and supposedly ultimate power look useless. The writers clearly hyped up the shine of the Enchantix but what's the good of the Shining if you make your characters oh so suddenly forgettable about their knowledge. This breaks reality and disturbs the storyline. Nick can be easily forgiven for leaving storylines untold but man these two simple easy to fix mistake from the original show cannot be forgiven, Skylights! (Don't believe me, about Nick's mistakes being forgiveable they've come out and said it themselves apparently online

This is an excellent bias researched review given by a fan of the Winx Club tv show where he personally announces it for us that the Nick Writers admitted that they were totally rushing the Season 4 story forward along with the tv specials that released before just to get to Season 5's air release and things got left out, and untold, but it leaves open the avenue for Rainbow to do something spectacular of filling those plot holes in, Skylights. )
And it docks Season 3's impact for me as a favorite Season, Skylights.
