Chapter 87: Unexpected Events 2

„Aaah... what happened?"

I woke up in our bed. Tomoka is still lying next to me.

(What happened to us? The last think I remember was me eating that cake and then... talking to a horse.)

(I was in a stable and there was also one brown horse bending over me. Was it a dream?)

(Where is Mr. Alien?)

When I got up, there was no one else around.

„Tomoka! Are you still sleeping?"

It's still dark outside.

(What shall I do... breakfast?)

First I thought, that it is still too early, but according to the clock it was not early morning, but late evening... around 9 PM.

(What the hell happened?)

(Did Karex drug us? But why?)

„mmm...."

„Arisa... are you here?"

„What happened?"

Tomoka finally woke up too.

„I was in a hospital and someone was doing surgery upon me. They looked like aliens... or bugs... ahh... what a terrible dream."

Tomoka sat up and checked her belly.

„It was really a dream, right?"

„I think so."

„Mmm. So what happened? What time is it?"

„9 PM"

„What?! Did we sleep for... did that dead man do anything to us?"

„I am not sure. That cake might be drugged..."

„I will kill him next time... or wait... I can call him right away!"

Tomoka made a call.

„Nothing. He turned it off."

„So what now?"

„I don't know. Let's have dinner and then... no, searching for him in the middle of the night is pointless. Let's go to bed and solve it tomorrow morning. It will be Sunday, so a lot of free time."

„Mmm. I agree."

Tomoka fixed us quick dinner and then we went to bed.

When I woke up in the morning, I could hear some noise coming from outside.

(Who is here again? Is that Mr. A... Corpse would be better name for him from now on. I don't know what he did to us, but it also upset me.)

I looked out of the window and spotted all the kids from my class.

„Hello. Why are you all here today?"

„It's Monday morning, so we came for lessons."

That shocked me.

(Did we sleep not just for one day, but two... or more? What date is it?)

I checked my mobile phone and realized, that it really was two days since the time Mr. Corpse visited us.

(Now that I think about it... aren't there two many undead people around us?)

„I will come down right away!"

I shouted at them and quickly changed into my usual clothes.

„Arisa? Why are you in a hurry?"

Tomoka just got up and noticed me changing.

„Come and k..."

„I have to run downstairs... it's Monday!"

I didn't wait for Tomoka to finish her words and quickly ran to start my class.

(Oh! Did Tomoka want to kiss me? Ahh... well... we can do it later.)

When all lessons were over I returned back to our living quarters and met Tomoka sitting at our dining table... looking down.

„Tomoka, are you alright?"

„Is it because I didn't kiss you today?"

„Can I compensate you somehow?"

Tomoka looked to be thinking for a while.

„Date... and I want you to fulfill me one wish."

„What wish?"

„I can't tell you yet. But I want you to agree with it. It's nothing harmful."

(She would never hurt me, but agreeing to something unknown?)

„Fine. I agree. Where do you want to go on that date?"

I agreed. Whatever it is, it will surely not be anything bad.
