Chapter 27-Be strong

EMMAS POV
"Yeah. I got kidnapped by that man over there." I said, pointing to him. "Carry on." He told me. "And I called Jacob. He came along with Cameron and the man...shot him." I said, breaking into tears at the end. Jacob comforted me. "Babe, don't cry. It's gonna be okay." Jacob said. I felt better. "Okay. We'll take him in for questioning and see what we'll do with him." DS Thorpe said. "No. You put him into jail for a lifetime!" I yelled. "Ma'am, calm down please. Let us do our job." He said. I rolled my eyes at him and stuck my middle finger up at the man. "Come on, babe. Let's go see Cam." Jacob said, pulling me out. We got out the door and I just cried into his chest. "Baby! Don't cry! Think positive, I hate to see you cry. It makes me sad." Jacob said, sadly. I got myself together after a couple seconds and said, "I love you. Thank you for everything you have done for me." I thanked. "I love you more. But, this is only the beginning." Jacob said, intertwining his fingers in mine. I gave a slight smile. "I'm just gonna text the others, just to tell them." I said, getting my phone out.
Me: Guys...u wouldn't believe what just happened!!! 😭😭😭
A couple minutes later Aaron and Daniel replied.
Aaron: Why?? What happened??! R u okay??
Daniel: R u alright?? What happened?
Me: Cam tried to save me and he got shot 😭😭😭😭😭
Aaron: What?!!!!!!!
Daniel: WTF!!! What!!!
Me: He's at the hospital now
Aaron: I'm going there now
Me: You're on tour rn
Aaron: But I need to see Cam! Honestly if he doesn't make it 😭
Me: He will! Don't think like that.
No one answered after that.
"Right, I'm gonna call for a uber." Jacob said. "Okay." I said, sitting on a bench. Jacob called for an uber to come pick us up. "What if Cameron doesn't make it?" I asked, after Jacob finished the call. "He will." Jacob said. "What if he doesn't?" I asked. "Then, everyone would be incredibly sad." Jacob said, just realising he'd be sad if Cam didn't make it. "What if he actually doesn't make it?" Jacob asked. "Exactly. Do you feel what I feel right now? Sad. Upset. Angry. Mad. Confused." I said. Jacob nodded and I saw a little tear come from his eye. He quickly wiped it away. "You don't need to hide your tears from me. I'm your girlfriend. Cry, if you need to." I said, holding his hand. Jacob started to cry. I needed to be strong now. For Cameron's sake.
