Chapter 39-Gone forever

EMMAS POV
I woke up on the hotel bed. I looked to my right and saw Jacob on his phone. I moved so I was facing him and he looked at me. "Good evening, princess." He said, smiling and turning his phone off. "Is it evening already?" I asked. "Yup. You slept for a long time." Jacob said. Then, I remembered. Mark killed himself...I cried. Jacob didn't understand what was going on. "Baby girl? What's wrong?" Jacob asked, confused. "M-Mark...." I said. "Mark what? Did he hurt you?" Jacob asked. I shook my head, no. Still crying. "K-killed himself!" I said, forcing the words to come out. Jacob looked speechless. "Mark who? Mark Thomas? As in, the one who punched me?" Jacob asked. I nodded. Jacob didn't say anything after that. I looked at him. I saw one tear fall out of his eye. He wiped it away. Jacob doesn't like showing his sadness to people. "W-where is he?" Jacob asked, crying at this point. "I-I don't know...all I know is that he's dead. Forever!" I said, forcing the words he's dead out of my mouth. Jacob hugged me. I hugged him 10x more. "W-what are we gonna do?" I asked, crying. I cannot believe Mark...is dead. "I-I don't know! I don't know where he is, why he killed himself, why he wanted to do that, where he is now!" Jacob stressed and he walked around in circles. "Jacob. Jacob." I said, trying to stop him from stressing. "Jacob. We need to be strong. For Mark's sake. Come on. You're better than this. Be strong." I encouraged. Jacob toughened himself up and said, "Right. Now you." Jacob said. I was still crying. "W-what?" I asked, confused and upset. "Toughen up." Jacob commanded. Someone knocked on the door. Jacob went to open it. It was Loren. She was crying too. I ran over to he and hugged her. We cried into each other's shoulders. "I-I can't believe he's gone!" Loren sobbed. I felt a hand on my back. I looked. It was Jacob. We all stood there hugging each other, crying. Marks gone. Forever.
