Chapter 55-Panic

EMMAS MOM POV
I went downstairs and asked, "Do you know what's up with Emma? She looked as if she had one of her anxiety attacks again." "No. All I know is that them two have been up in Jacob's room ever since they got here. Oh! I remember. Emma came down to tell me someone was after Jacob." Jacob's mom explained. "Someone's after Jacob?!" I gasped. "Apparently. But I'm positive that someone's playing a prank on him." She shrugged. "I'm pretty sure that they aren't. By the state of what he's in..." I said. "You're probably right...I'll see you later, anyways." She said, smiling. "Yeah. See you later." I said, waving and waking out.
EMMAS POV
"I can't do that, Jacob. I can't just give you up like that." I said and snapped my fingers at the end of the sentence. "I know you can't. And you aren't." Jacob said. I felt tears coming on. "Why does my life have to be like this?!" I yelled and ran to Jacob's bathroom. I made a huge mess in there because I was searching for a razor or a knife or a sharp thing. "Emma! Emma! Stop!" Jacob yelled and grabbed my hands. "Get off me!" I cried. Tears were streaming down my face and I was having a panic again. I managed to get out of his grasp. Jacob's mom came in and stopped me though. She grabbed me and pulled me out. I was laid on the floor in a ball, crying. "Mom. What's wrong with her? She keeps having these attacks." I heard Jacob say. His mom said something but I couldn't make it out. "Emma?" I heard someone say, soothingly. I looked up from my hands. Jacob. "It's okay. I'm here for you." He said, calmly and rubbing circles on my back. "I'm sorry. I-I just...don't know what came over me." I said, sniffling. "Come on. Maybe if you get some sleep you'll feel a bit better." His mom said, moving the covers. I got up and got into the bed. I didn't bother changing. I wrapped myself in the covers and then I felt someone snuggle up next to me. It was Jacob. "Night, baby girl." I heard Jacob say. "Night." I replied. My eyes soon felt heavy and I found myself sleeping. 😊
