"Brennan!" I said laughing as he threw a water balloon at me.
"Haha, got you!" Brennan chuckled.
Brennan was my best friend. He was always so silly and he is a good friend to my older brother, Caleb. He was the bestest best friend in the universe!
"1, 2, 3, cannonball!" I screamed and jumped in the lake.
He chuckled and said, "Hey Annie, we should go dry off inside, it's getting kinda dark."
"Okay," I replied.
"Here," he said holding out his hand.
"Thank you." I said as I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up out of the water...but way too hard. This caused me to bump into Brennan and fall over on top of him. "Oh my gosh!" I laughed. "I'm so sorry."
"Hey, hey your good." he smiled.
We both picked ourselves up and made our way towards the house.
"Brennan," I said.
"Yes?"
"Thanks for being a good best friend." I said.
"No prob, it's me and you against the world." he said.
"Aw, thanks." I smiled at him.
He smiled back.
I opened the door and grabbed towels. One for me and one for Brennan.
"Had fun?" Miss Jill asked.
"A ton of fun" Brennan smirked.
"That's great" she said.
"yeah" I smiled at the ground. "Anyways, what is for dinner?"
"Your favorite, steak!" My dad, Mr. Billy said.
"YES!" I screamed as I ran over to the kitchen table.
"Annie wait up," said Brennan as he caught up to me. "Your too fast!" he laughed.
"Well it looks like you should start working out little dude." I laughed.
Brennan laughed looking down at his six pack. "Naw, I'm good." he chuckled.
I have finally made the decision to write another book. Sorry if I'm inactive at times, but I will try my best to write in my free time!! enjoy!!
