Meet the Gamemakers: Vader and Sidious

I'm not filling out character forms for Emperor Palpatine (aka Darth Sidious) or Darth Vader, since we know them so well. This chapter is to refresh our memory on their characters.

Emperor Palpatine has finally achieved his ultimate goal: forging an Empire and taking over the galaxy. The Jedi are all but destroyed and it brings him great joy to see these final twenty rebels tormented before they finally die, at last. He is a powerful Sith Lord who relies on his apprentice, Darth Vader, to do most of his dirty work.

Darth Vader was once a different man with a different name. Now, he no longer thinks of that name for it belonged to a weak man who lost everything... A wife, a brother, an Order... Instead, he focuses on his pain and anger to strengthen himself. He is the most powerful being in the galaxy, even to rival his master, though he would never do such a thing. For seven years he has lived inside a mechanical suit that has become his home, living as more machine than man. He singlehandedly destroyed the Jedi and brought about their end. It doesn't bother him to see a few more rebels destroyed in his Master's new arena.
