Day 3: Hacked Roster (Dec. 6)

(video camera turns on in Lizzy's room)

Lizzy: Hey guys, it's Wednesday. I am extremely happy because now it's getting close to the weekend. Yay! So...I'm going to be blunt and honest in saying that nothing happened today, or at least anything worth recording. This is literally the first time today that I got out my camera and pressed the record button. So in times like these, I thought it would be a good idea to tell a story or maybe say a few things that's going on in the world because I'm that strange. For that reason, this journal entry may be a bit short and a little boring. But if you want to skip this entry, that's totally fine. I don't mind that at all. The story that I will be sharing with you today is how I ended up being roommates with Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei. It's not too complicated but it's kind of a long story.

In this school, there are little dorm apartments that can house up to four students per apartment because this is a boarding school. The apartments are kind of small and many of them compile together to make a building. So there's quite a few buildings in one part of the campus grounds. Anyway, someone decided to hack one of the administrator's computers and change the roster for where each student signed up to stay at. Before this happened, everyone chose who their roommates were gonna be but then it became completely random. So the head of the school sent all of the students, and their parents, emails of what happened and hoped to rearrange the rooming assignments when everyone got to the school. As a freshmen, that kind of freaked me out because I would be living with people that I didn't know. So that was kind of scary. So when I got to the school and found out who my roommates were, I was kind of relieved because I knew one of them, which was Yugi. He and I have been friends for quite a while before school so that made me a bit more calm. I actually was an acquaintance of Jaden already and I knew of Yusei because of our network of friends. I ended up, to my relief, with some good people to room with and they didn't mind me. So we just stuck with being roommates for the rest of Yugi's, Jaden's, and myself's freshmen year and of Yusei's sophomore year. Yes, Yusei is actually a year ahead of the rest of us. But having him around has helped the three of us adjust to school life away from our homes and know what to expect in dorm life. It helps....it REALLY helps when you know someone that knows what he's doing. Anyway, that's about it. Thanks for-

(door opens randomly)

Jaden: (peeks in the room) Hey, Lizzy?

Lizzy: (turns to him) Did something happen?

Jaden: No, just wondering if you want to play some games.

Lizzy: Ooh, I'm totally down for that! (turns to camera) See you guys tomorrow!

Jaden: (waves at the camera)

(video camera turns off)
