Jimin looked up at the Vent. Hoping Jungkook didn't hear a thing about it. He couldn't have the younger hear this and all Jimin felt after Taehyung's indirect confession, made Jimin feel slightly uncomfortable. He would see the younger as a best friend, a brother and a person to rely on. Not this... Not a relationship where he would be there to hug and kiss the younger. The thought of it made Jimin look down and grow slightly uncomfortable.

Taehyung was shirtless, he had his bottoms only pulled slightly down as he revealed the black waistband of his underwear under it. Jimin looked away and layed back on the bed. "Please get some rest, Taehyung... Thank you for your hard work. It won't happen again." Jimin stated but the boy kept his stare at Jimin in disbelief. Having his heart turned down from his best friend left him silent.

"You don't... Want to say anything to me in return?" Taehyung whispered as Jimin shook his head. "Oh.. That's okay.." Taehyung whispered and walked to his own bed while Tata was on his bed. Waiting for him patiently. "If you ever get hungry, please... Tell me so I can cook up the leftover Kimchi-Jjigae. I made your favorite..." Taehyung added as Jimin only layed there. Not knowing what to do about this now.

At the moment, Jimin didn't want anyone... Although that didn't hide the fact that he did enjoy the gentle hand hold of Jungkook's fixed with his own soft and small hand. Jimin continued to cup the hand and hope to hear Jungkook's voice tonight. Just today, he listened to the boy up close. He heard Jungkook's soft and angelic voice that was the cause of his smile in his sleep. The dream Jimin had was that he was at the docks speaking into his recorder with Jungkook by his side. Jimin didn't want to shake off this small feeling of glee that filled him when he listened to Jungkook's voice. His dark stress and harsh view he would see the world would fade into a beautiful color when he would listen to Jungkook and it made him smile.

"So..." Taehyung added sitting down on the bed while he pulled his Tata plush close and switched off the lamp from his side of the room. "Is he good to you..?" Taehyung whispered as Jimin sat up and looked at the dark side of Taehyung's room.

"Yes." Jimin responded. Little did he know, Jungkook has already left the room of the vent out of anger that rose in him. He was just this calm and gentle guy, but now he came up with a dark persona that arose from what he heard. Taehyung was on his mind and he couldn't help but to grow upset. He could already imagine the two making out and accepting each other's love for one another. Not realizing that he should have stayed to listen to how it all unfolded. Jungkook was quick to jump into conclusions that he couldn't just sit there and think that this was what became of his new friend.

Jungkook dropped down onto his bed and looked up at the night sky beyond the window. He could hear the gentle waves. Rising above it's usual level due to the moon being high up at the center of the sky now. "Why am I so upset...? Maybe it's because... I fear losing my new friend to his new husband." Jungkook added with an attitude. "I want to be Jimin's friend. I want to be his only friend like how he is for me.. Yet, that can't happen if this Taehyung guy is in the way.  He won't let Jimin be my friend.. My only friend that has the guts to come up here."  Jungkook said to himself as he glanced back at the room door with such a blank yet upset face. "So be it... I won't sing to him since he has his boyfriend now. He could maybe sing better than I can. Who am I to deserve a friend?  A hideous and ugly duckling within would never turn into a swan like this... Not when I'm alone in this hole.. This endless and bottomless pit that I can't dare to escape from. I'm my own prisoner.." Jungkook whispered to himself and stood up once more to walk across to the abandoned room. Not daring to stay away. He just couldn't help himself.

On Jungkook's way to the vents again, he stepped on a small recorder box. Suddenly a log played. "Log two, District, Busan." Said the voice coming from the box that sounded quite similar to Jimin's. This made Jungkook quickly get down and pick the recorder up and the flashlight by it's side. Jungkook held it up to his ear and began to listen to it. He heard of great things Jimin described him. Jimin described the boy as a peculiar cloud, trying to find it's unique shape in the world around it and Jungkook couldn't help but to walk back into his own apartment, neglecting the promise of singing to Jimin for the night. But he alone was a little upset at Jimin because he believed Jimin accepted the confession his best friend gave him. Even if he was wrong anyways.

All night, Jungkook listened to Jimin's voice through the recorder and the logs Jimin spoke into described his experiences perfectly. Jungkook smiled and couldn't stop replaying the logs over and over again... That's how happy he was for being Jimin's friend. "Should I give him a gift? A thank you gift for being my friend? I heard from the vents that he loves Kimchi-Jjigae...  I bet I can make the best Kimcji-Jjigae than his new boyfriend- Oh... That's right... He has a boyfriend." Jungkook said with a sigh. "But I bet I can make him still hang out with me no matter what... I want Jimin to be close to me.. We're friends now and friends hang out together. But I just can't brush off the fact that he's in a relationship. I hate that..." Jungkook added as he held the recorder close.  Pressing the record button to record something for Jimin.

The next morning, Jimin woke up to see Taehyung buttoning up his dress shirt and looking at Jimin through the reflection of the mirror as he was wearing black slacks and Gucci classic white shoes with just his round glasses against his eyes on his face. Jimin sat up and tilted his head.

"Where are you going?" Jimin wondered as Taehyung ruffled his own hair and turned his gaze to his hands through the mirror.

          "Going to interview the trainee."

"But... Isn't that my job?" Jimin asked standing up to approach Taehyung.

"I'm pretty sure you'll just leave me without saying anything so save me from the worries. I'm taking the questions so I would ask them to him." Taehyung mentioned. Just then, Jimin's eyes widened as he started to look around desperately for something. "What are you looking for?" Taehyung asked as Jimin started to panic.

"W-Where is my recorder?! Taehyung!!  Help me please!" Jimin panicked but Taehyung only rolled his eyes and fixed his glasses.

"Stop crying. It's just a recorder. It will turn up eventually..." Taehyung assured.  But Jimin started to tear up and shake his head quickly.

"It had logs in them!  Logs with golden descriptions of my days here! I can't lose them!" Jimin cried as Taehyung patted Jimin's shoulder and looked at him.

"When I come back from the interview... I'll help you out and help find it. Understood?" Taehyung claimed as Jimin was able to calm down a bit and nod his head. Unaware that he dropped the recorder up at the third floor. With the many things that has happened, Jimin forgot how he dropped it and suddenly woke up in Jungkook's room after.

"Okay. W-Who are you going to interview?" Jimin wondered to try and forget about his recorder being missing.

"Jung Hoseok... He's a trainee." Taehyung stated as Jimin smiled. He recognized the name from the time the older man approached him that day to prevent him from heading up the steps. "Stop smiling like that. He doesn't want you." Taehyung teased. Still having a bit part of his heart broken from what went down last night. Yet he tried his best not to show off any of his depressive side.

"I know he doesn't! I was just smiling since he lives here too!  He's very handsome and happy. Maybe you can score a date with him." Jimin then tried his best to wink but ended up blinking both of his eyes as Taehyung just couldn't stay mad at Jimin no matter what he did.
