Advice Request

This person wants to help resolve a dispute between their two friends

Answered Submission

Hi!

It sounds like you're the stuck in the middle here and want both of your friends to get along with each other.

The thing with this situation that this is an issue that Ally and Wendy have to overcome themselves. Talking about it could help, but nothing is going to change if they don't put the same amount of effort into restoring and growing the relationship.

I would suggest there be a mediator while they're talking (if you can get them to talk) because, from their personality traits and the issue at hand, it seems the situation could get ugly fast.

You also have to remember that some people just aren't compatible. The best option in a case like that is to talk it out so they can be civil with each other. It is possible, however, for them to stay friends and even grow closer if they can get through this, but like I said before, they have to be willing to work for it and put in the same amount of effort. Otherwise, nothing is going to change.

I hope this helps in some way,
