The Dog Of Mystery!

"So, you are telling me that this cat was following you all the way home and as you got to the door something hit your head and passed out?", question Himari.

"Yep! And after all the thinking I had, I decided to make this cat my new pet." replied Suzuki.

"He is so cute! What's he called?!" asked Hana.

"Keiichineko." said Suzuki with a dead stone face.

After covering up what really happened, Suzuki went up to his room and slammed himself down on the bed. Of course, Keiichineko followed him and jumped up on to his bed and curled up next to him. He gave off a big yawn and started to ask why he lied to his mum and sister.

"So why did you lie? I thought you come from a half-demon family." Keiichineko inquired.

"We are but there were two major incidents when I was younger and ever since then we haven't dealt with demons." Suzuki addressed.

"And they where?" queried Keiichineko.

Suzuki gave a big sigh and hesitated a bit but then began to tell his tale,"When I was younger I was playing with my sister and my other friend, Ayaka, who is Hana's best friend and we got attacked by a vicious demon. I protected both of them and I ended up getting seriously injured. The second incident was when my father went to the dark side and left us all behind."

"What?!~nyaa." gasped Keiichineko.

After Suzuki said that he gave off a big smile to say that he is fine and decided to get up as he has school to attend.

Like every morning, he rushes out of the door with a slice of toast in his mouth and runs off to school but this time he was accompanied by Keiichineko.

As they both ran to school, a strange figure appears before them. He had big, sharp and dog-like ears, jaws that were wider than the sky, his eyes are lime green and sharp. He was wearing a light brown kimono and had a samurai sword in his belt.

"Long time no see my rival. I see you aren't going to show me your true self as per usual." stated the mysterious man.

"That voice~nyaa... is it WonderDog?!" chirped Keiichineko.

"No! It's Shinki! Why do you always call me WonderDog!" blasted WonderDo...I mean Shinki. 

"See even The Creator is getting involved!" complained Shinki.

"Who's this?" asked Suzuki

"Ah. I am the great rival to Keiichineko. My name is Shinki Inu." boasted Shinki.

"Nice to meet you...wait...does that mean you're a demon as well." said Suzuki with a shocked tone.

"Yeah, could you not tell from my demon-like features." Shinki boasts once again.

"What demon-like features! You look like some creep who likes dressing up as a dog and who has sharp but not so scary eyes." Suzuki fired back.

After he said that, Shinki's eyes began to tear up and he began to sniffle a bit. Keiichineko began to walk away as he can't be bothered with Shinki's rubbish anymore. Suzuki soon follows but Shinki then pounced on Suzuki and starts crying on him and saying, 'Please!!! Please help me!! Keiichineko, Suzuki!".

"Why?! What's the matter?!" asked Suzuki.

"Well to tell you the truth...I followed Keiichineko into this world as I was curious to see what he was up to and now...I've got nowhere to go!!!!! Please help me!!!!!" begged Shinki.

"Wait! Are you a stalker or something?!" Suzuki asked in a curious voice.

Before Shinki could plead his innocence, a group of demons suddenly surrounded them. They looked weak but in Suzuki's circumstances, he was also weak. Keiichineko looked uninterested and Shinki looked motivated.

"I guess this is the first time I'll get to fight, huh?" stated Shinki.

"What are we going to do, Keiichineko?!" shouted Suzuki.

"You should be able to take them. Remember you took out Colossal the other day." Keiichineko replied.

Suddenly the monsters began to make their move and charged towards Keiichineko but Shinki stepped in the way and drew his samurai sword and slashed the five enemies which tried to pounce him.

Suzuki was punching some of his enemies and sending them back to the Good Demon Realm. Everything seemed to be going well but suddenly a sneaky demon came behind Shinki without him noticing and was about to attack him but in the nick of time Suzuki ended up knocking the enemy back.

"Wow! Thanks for covering my back there, Master Suzuki!" Shinki claimed.

"Huh? Huuuuuuhhhhhh?!!!!!!", exclaimed Suzuki.

"I'll follow you anywhere, Master Suzuki." Shinki bowed down.

"Oh, look what you've done now! We've got WonderDog following us!" yelled Keiichineko.

"Ah, I haven't got time for this! I'm late for school!!!" Suzuki complained.

In the end, Suzuki was late for school and got scolded by the Akari-Sensei. He then got scolded by his mum but he did end up finding somewhere for WonderDog to sleep and that was a cosy kennel. All well that ends well I guess.
