Attack on Cat Palace Arc Chapter 1: Welcome to the Neko Realm!

It's now a late Friday night in the middle of November and the Fujimura Clan have been training non stop since Suzuki got his Calling. Suzuki is now able to produce Skywalk and Speedstar for quite some time now and Hebi has now got better control over his Calling and learnt new moves in the process. Shinki is now able to produce stronger versions of his old attacks and Anna's healing ability has gotten stronger over the past few weeks.

"It's impressive what you can do in just a few weeks.", said Suzuki.

"Nyahahahaha! It sure is~nyaa!", agreed Keiichineko.

"We've still got a long way to go, Master Suzuki", stated Shinki.

"Yeah! Once I am able to control all of my powers, I'll be able to take that step towards being the Good Demon Lord!", thought Suzuki.

"Hello?! Is anyone here?", asked a mysterious voice.

"Huh? Daiki~nyaa?!", exclaimed Keiichineko.

"We have a mission for you guys.", began Daiki.

"Yes, it's nice to see you to Daiki!", jested Keiichineko.

"What's the job about?", asked Suzuki.

"We need you guys to go into the Neko Realm and protect the Royal Cat Family.", told Daiki.

"Come again? Th....the Royal Cat Family!!!!!", gasped Suzuki.

"Yes. To be more precise, the King of the Royal Cat Family, Naoyuki, went to a future predictor and was told that there is a traitor among them and they plan to attack soon. Since you guys have been gaining tractions, they have requested that you guys help them in protecting the Neko Realm.", explained Daiki.

"Really?!", marvelled Suzuki.

"Nyahahaha! Who would have thought we'd get this much attention!', laughed Keiichineko.

"So I guess we will be going to Keiichineko's and Anna's homeland.", pointed out Hebi.

"Nya? I have never grew up in the Neko Realm.", told Keiichineko.

"Wait! You didn't live in the Neko Realm?!", perplexed Suzuki.

"Yeah. I was born in the Neko Realm but was raised in the normal Demon Realm. It was the same for Anna as well.", notified Keiichineko.

"Anyway, we are getting off topic here. So what is your answer? Are you going to take the job?", questioned Daiki.

"Of course! Let's do this guys!", encouraged Suzuki.

"Yeah!", cheered all of the others!

"That's what I like to hear. Now then, here is the Warp Portal to get the Neko Realm. Just make your way to the Cat Palace and asked for someone called Kiyoshi. He is the Elder there and will guide you through the Palace and what they want from you.", coached Daiki as he handed the gear needed for the mission.

"Thanks!", thanked Suzuki.

"I wish you all luck on this mission.", wished Daiki as he opened the portal and left.

"What a strange guy?', mocked Hebi.

"Well then! Let's go!", instructed Suzuki as opened up the portal.

"Wait Suzuki! Aren't you forgetting something?", inquired Anna.

"Huh? Oh yeah I nearly forgot! I need to tell mum and Hana!", panicked Suzuki as he was about to step into the portal.

"Don't worry, Suzuki. It doesn't sound too dangerous and with the training you have done, I am sure you'll handle this with no problem.", grinned Himari as she walked into the room.

"Mum?! How did you know what we was doing?!", quizzed Suzuki.

"I was just passing by and I caught a glimpse of what you guys were saying.", smiled Himari.

"I see. Well, if you say it's fine then that's fine!", said Suzuki.

"Have a save trip!", beamed Himari.

"We will! Bye!!!!", waved Suzuki as he enter the portal with the rest.

Just as they all left, Hana entered Suzuki's bedroom but then she realised that they have left.

"That stupid brother! He could have waited until I came and said goodbye.", pouted Hana.

"You'll just have to give a big welcome back when he comes back.", cackled Himari.

"I guess so! Are you sure you are okay with what he is doing?', asked Hana.

"Yeah. As much as I don't want him to do it, I can see a new lease of life in him and I can't take that away. I am proud of the steps he is making so I'll support him all the way.", gushed Himari.

"That's right! But I just can't help but worry over him.", quavered Hana.

"I am the same but we need to be strong for him and one day he'll get strong enough so that we don't have to worry as much!", Himari comforted as she was holding back her tears.

Meanwhile, Suzuki and the others have now entered the Neko Realm and when they looked on forward they saw a city brimming with light and life. Everywhere they looked there were people walking, in their Demon forms, around in groups or even on the own. On every corner there was a food stand selling delicious smelling food. Tied from lamppost to lamppost where dangling lights that were in a shape of a cat. They looked on in the distance and saw massive cream coloured palace which had a flagging flying high in the sky. To both the left and right of the Palace was two statues of two of the Royal Cats in their Demon Form.

"This is incredible! I would never have expected the Neko Realm to be this big or fancy!", resounded Suzuki.

"It sure is a sight!", agreed Hebi.

"What do you think, Anna?", asked Suzuki as he looked at a daydreaming Anna.

"Huh? Oh! It looks great.", sniffled Anna.

"Are you okay?", Suzuki queried.

"Yeah I'm fine. It's just being some place that I could have been raised in brings back a memory of someone.", lamented Anna.

"Come on Anna! She wouldn't want you to feel like this!", motivated Keiichineko.

"I'm sorry for bringing up some sad memories.", consoled Suzuki as he put his arm around her.

"Don't be silly. This isn't your fault.", smiled Anna.

"Oh! How cute. You two would make a great couple. Nyahahahaha!", teased Keiichineko.

"Idiot! What are you saying?! I used to do this to Hana when she was little!", said Suzuki in a flustered tone as he quickly moved his arm away.

"Yeah! There's no way that I'd fall for someone like him!", blushed Anna.

"But Anna, you're face and body language says differ-", began Shinki before he got hit in the stomach by Anna.

"Shush!", sibilated Anna.

"That hurt! What was that for?!", barked Shinki.

"Calm down you two. You're causing a scene.", pointed out Hebi as he pointed at the crowd of people looking at them.

"Nyahahahaha! Now that I have had my fun, let's go to the Palace and find out our job!", chirped Keiichineko.
