We now go back to 3 weeks ago. It was just a normal day for the Kawamoto family. Working, practising to become stronger, this was classed as peace for the Kawamoto but that so called 'peace' was ceased to exist when Shinra Fujimura came into their presences.
The Kawamoto Clans home was fantastic. It was a traditional japanese house with a nice small pond sitting in the middle of the garden. When Melissa was sat outside enjoying the view of the garden, she looked up and saw something falling from the sky. She moved out the way and Splash! It was a random stranger but who?!
"Big Brother Ryu! A stranger has come crashing into our garden.", called Melissa.
"Huh?! A stranger?", questioned Ryu.
After hearing about the incident, both Ryu and Melissa run into the garden and see a man dripping head to toe in water as he fell into the pond. The man pulled himself out the water and wringed his long hair.
"Are you okay?", asked Melissa as she moved towards him.
"Melissa! Stop! We don't know who he is!", warned Ryu as he grabbed Melissa by the hand to stop her from going near him.
"I must apologies for my rude entrance, my name is Kouki Yamagata.", introduced Shinra giving a false name.
"Why have you landed in our garden?!", challenged Ryu.
"Big Brother Ryu! He's dripping in water! We need to tend to him!", begged Melissa.
"Thanks for your concern, young girl, but there is no need to worry about a stranger that has just crashed into your home. Now to answer your question, I was attacked by the infamous Demon, Shinra Fujimura.", claimed Shinra.
"Shinra Fujimura. I've heard that name before but I have never seen a picture of him.", recalled Melissa.
"So? Why would this Shinra Fujimura attack you? I can tell that you are only a normal human from your presence.", Ryu pointed out.
"Before he sent me flying, he said that he is here to steal some power.", revealed Shinra.
"Some power?", wondered Ryu.
"Good work on the interrogation, Ryu.", a voice praised.
"Father!", exclaimed Ryu.
The man who came out of the door was Kantaro Kawamoto. He had medium length black hair and golden coloured eyes. He was wearing the Head's version of the Shrine Clothing they wear, which had the Onmyouji star on the left side the top. He is the best of the best when it comes to Onmyouji powers and is considered in the top 10 Onmyouji's in Japan, ranking 9th.
"Now then, let's get him some fresh pair of clothes.", said Kantaro.
"Father! We don't know who he actually is?!", yelled Ryu.
"Ryu.....Trust me.", reassured Kantaro.
As he said that, they all entered the house and let Shinra get dry. He came downstair with his fresh clothes and they offered him nice warm food and plenty to drink.
"Kouki Yamagata, was it?", quizzed Kantaro.
"Yes. Nice to meet you...", began Shinra.
"Kantaro Kawamoto.", answered Kantaro.
"Hey! Mister Yamagata! Do you like music?!", queried Tempo.
"Of course I do!", smiled Shinra.
"Yahoooo! Well then, here we g....", started Tempo.
"Tempo... no music at the table.", Ryu interrupted.
"Sorry, Big Brother Ryu.", apologized Tempo.
"So, how long do you intend to stay, Mr Yamagata.", wondered Ryu.
"Big Brother Ryu!", shushed Melissa while tugging at his sleeve.
"It's fine. I plan to leave as soon as I have finished my meal.", Shinra made aware.
"There is no need to rush, Mr Yamagata. You are welcome to stay as long as you desire.", welcomed Kantaro.
"Father!", barked Ryu.
"Thank you, Mr Kawamoto.", thanked Shinra.
"Ryu, come with me.", called Kantaro.
Both of them got up and left the room. Kantaro took him to his main office so that he can speak to Ryu privately.
"What are you doing, father?! He's a stranger!", chided Ryu.
"Stop that this instant, Ryu or this will be all for nothing.", demanded Kantaro.
"This will all be nothing?!", thought Ryu.
"He's the actual Shinra Fujimura.", revealed Kantaro.
"Wha...?!", panicked Ryu.
"He's masked his Demon Presence so we can't sense him. Our talks around him in the Onmyouji Council have been kept quiet so that no information gets leaked to Demon World.", told Kantaro.
"No way!", gasped Ryu.
"Just play along with it for now, we need to find out his motive.", explained Kantaro.
"Yes, Father!", agreed Ryu.
"Also, I know there is a lot of pressure on you since you are the next head of this clan but please stop living your life uptight, it's not good for you.", advised Kantaro.
"But Father....", stumbled Ryu.
"Enjoy life, Ryu. Anything could happen to you at any moment. So what's the point about worry all the little things.", gleamed Kantaro as he tapped him on the shoulder.
They both walked back into the living room and enjoyed the rest of the night. This was what peace was in the Kawamoto household but that peace came under pressure. In just a few weeks, all of the Kawamoto Clan peace would come crumbling down.
