Beezlebub Arc Chapter 1: Roar! The Enraged Beast Awakes!

Now that the Fujimura Clan have gone down their own tunnels, they will have to take their own route to get to the centre of the palace. None of them know what to expect as they get down there but all they know is that there will be enemies ahead. The first to reach the end of their tunnel is Shinki. As he got down, all he could see is a barely lit room with loads of shelves which were stacked with books. As he got further he saw a man sat on a rectangular table.

"It seems like that Vincent didn't do his job properly. That stupid manakin!" chided the man.

"Who are you?!" asked Shinki while on guard.

"How rude! Asking someone to state their name even though they have entered their territory. My name is Paolo." revealed Paolo.

"Where is Beezlebub?!" questioned Shinki.

"Ha! Like I'll straight up tell you, you stupid mutt! You have entered my part of this Palace. The way them tunnels work is that all of them but one point to one of our stations and you were unlucky enough to enter mine since I am the third seat." told Paolo.

"Third seat! That means you are a A rank level threat." exclaimed Shinki.

"A rank threat level? Now please tell me what that means." teased Paolo.

"It means I can go all out. If you have a threat level of A rank then you are to be eliminated or to be captured depending on the importance of the enemy! If they are S Rank then they are to be eliminated straight away due to threat they pose. Everyone else is to be sent to the Good Demon Realm for questioning! Now eat this! Roar! Enraged Beast!" Shinki clarified as he pulled out his sword.

"Oh? Are we going straight to the Callings, huh? Fade, Nebbia." called Paolo.

Shinki goes straight at Paolo with his blade but all Paolo did was smile. He pulled out his sword to block Shinki's but all that came out was the handle. Paolo swung the handle towards Shinki's blade and stopped him.

"What?! It feels like my blade is touching another blade but I can't see it." thought Shinki.

"Ha! Welcome to my Calling! Nebbia means mist so I can manipulate my blade to fade in and out of vision seamlessly. It may not be the strongest Calling but when used right it can prove to be strong!" Paolo stated.

Shinki jumped back a space or two and began to quickly rethink his next move. He called his next move which was 'Enraged Beast: Cerberus!' and launched it towards Paolo. However, the Cerberus like image scattered into two as Paolo once again seamlessly dispersed the attack. As Paolo saw this as a mistake, he closed in on Shinki and stabbed right through his left shoulder. Shinki stumbled a little bit back and coughed up a little blood.

"Now now, you can't make mistakes all the time or I will keep punishing you." provoked Paolo.

Looking on in rage, Shinki gripped his blade tightly and went towards Paolo with a strong intent to harm. However, that was the wrong way to go as Shinki is now putty in Paolo's hands. Shinki tries to predict where the blade but was not ready to see the blade become unfaded by Paolo. Paolo strikes down and catches Shinki's chest. Paolo carries on the attack by kicking directly where he just cut him. Shinki stumbles back once again and is lying on the floor as he has already kicked the bucket.

"How pathetic! Are you actually giving up here? How the hell did Vincent lose to a group of losers. Saying that, he was a crap weakling as well." gibed Paolo.

"Shut up! We aren't weak." Shinki replied as he was standing back up.

"Oh?! He's up! Are you going to put up a better fight or are you just going to flop to the floor again? I don't like dragging tedious tasks out." jeered Paolo.

"I said shut u....What is going on with me?! I never get this angry!" wondered Shinki as he stopped him self from being angry.

"You figured out that something is wrong, huh? Well another technique to Nebbia is to fade the opponents calming nature and make it more rushed and angry to allow them to make more of a mistake. You can't escape from it either." explained Paolo.

"This is bad! How am I suppose to get out of this. Breathe and think! That's it! I have no other choice than to use that move." Shinki affirmed with himself.

Shinki closes his eyes and breathes in and out to get complete control of his breathing. As he does this, a blue aura glows around him and and lightening strikes spark off his body. He opens his eyes and they have turned a bright blue.

"Forbidden Enraged Beast: Raiju!" chanted Shinki.

"What....What the hell?! Is this an Oni-Chi!" fretted Paolo as he felt the pressure coming off Shinki.

"No this is still apart of my Enraged Beasts. You see, this is just a power amplifier that I was able to awaken thanks to Hebi when we were training the other week." explained Shinki.

"This doesn't change anything!" yelled Paolo in frustration.

"Oh it does! The electricity is sending waves to my brain to keep it stimulated and clear. Now let's end this now! Enraged Beast: Electrical Blitz!" stated Shinki as he races forward.

Paolo fades his blade once more and went in to strike but the brightness coming off the Blitz blade made Paolo's blade as clear as day. Shinki now easily brushes past Paolo's blade and full on thrusts his blade into Paolo. As the blade enters Paolo's body the Blitz activates like normal but this time an electrical burst charges in. The electrical energy pumps through Paolo's body and fries his body.

"I got you! You can't go around hurting innocent people anymore. I win!" demurred Shinki.

Shinki tries to leave the room but collapses right on the floor as he used up too much of his energy in that Raiju move. Elsewhere, there was another battle developing and it was Hebi.

"Snake Whip!" shouted Hebi as he sent his move towards the enemy.

"Weak! You can't perform like that in front of me, Matteo!" said Matteo.

"Huh?! What are you on about?!" deadpanned Hebi.

"Please put a bit more emotion into it!" joked Matteo.

"Look, I am in a bit of a rush so if you are going mess around please let me through" said Hebi trying to brush him off.

"Let me show you how you use whips." persuaded Matteo.

At first Matteo only had one whip in his hand but all of a sudden, another three appeared in his hands. Hebi moved back a few paces as Matteo was swinging them around.

"Now....let's see who is the better wielder!" declared Matteo.
