Onmyouji Arc Chapter 9: Stolen Powers! The Terrifying Shinra!

We are now in our third week of Shinra staying at the Kawamoto Clans home. At this moment of time, he hasn't made any move on them, he hasn't done anything suspicious at all. However, that was all going to change when Kantaro made his move.

"Mr Yamagata, where are you going?". asked Kantaro.

"Head Chief Kawamoto! I was just taking a stroll around your lovely garden. You see, I'll be leaving today.", announced Shinra.

"Leaving? Why so soon?", wondered Kantaro.

"I think we both know the reason.", smirked Shinra.

"I see. So, when did you figure me out?", inquired Kantaro.

"Since the beginning. Do you really think that I wouldn't know that you knew who I was? I just played along with your pathetic little game out of boredom and research.", told Shinra.

"Research?", thought Kantaro.

"You'll soon understand.", provoked Shinra.

"Onmyouji Arts: Book 2: Page 1: Line 3: Mana Prison!", chanted Kantaro.

Suddenly, a large light prison cell surrounded around Shinra making it so that he can't escape anywhere. However, this was not enough to stop Shinra as he unsheathed his sword and cut right through the Mana Prison.

"Hmph. I'm not surprise that you could breakthrough that for a Demon of that calibre. Is that your Demonia power or is that just your strength.", teased Kantaro.

"Demonia? Ha! I wouldn't use a technique like that on the likes of you. That was just my Demon Energy that I have been suppressing screaming out of my body.", explained Shinra.

"That was just his Demon Energy?! Just how strong is?!", fretted Kantaro.

Suddenly, Shinra speedstar'd behind Kantaro and stabbed pushed his blade through his chest causing Kantaro to spill some blood from his mouth. He removed himself from the blade and used the 'Onmyouji Arts: Book 5: Page 4: Line 1: Insta-Regeneration.' and then did a Pain Transfer on Shinra. Shinra accepted the wound and carried on his way to attack Kantaro. Kantaro set off some Mana bullets to put up some distances between him and Shinra but that was not enough to keep Shinra off his toes. Shinra masked his blade full of his Demon Energy and slashed across Kantaro's abdomen. Blood spilled across the wooden floor but he was about to cast another Insta-Regeneration until Shinra launched his biding technique.

"Demon Arts: 10 Demon Seal!", called Shinra.

A chain wrapped itself Kantaro and 10 red poles pinned him to the floor. Shinra put his foot on top of Kantaro's head and forced it down so that Kantaro could only see grains of wood.

"Your days as an Onmyouji are over, Kantaro Kawamoto. Gluttony: Inhale!", claimed Shinra as he put his hand on his body and started to extract Kantaro's power away from him.

"What is this?! My Power! I can feel it.....draining! But how?! He's a Demon!", panicked Kantaro.

"Scared, are we? You see, I have one of the best scientists of the Demon World at my side and we underwent a treatment to allow me to have Human Blood inside of me. I slade the infamous Beezlebub to gain his Gluttony Power which can pretty much inhale about any power. Smart, isn't it!", jested Shinra.

"Don't underestimate me! Onmyouji Arts: Book 7: Page 1: Line 1: Eradication Mana!", declared Kantaro.

Once them words left Kantaro's mouth, the air around them suddenly became thick. Black like fog surrounded the both of them but it was only going to affect Shinra. He lifted his hand off Kantaro and saw that his hand was decaying away.

"How scary that the only the first line of the strongest book can do this to a Demon. However, that's not enough to stop my goal. Let's go! My Calling.....", began Shinra.

After he released his calling, the black fog suddenly dispersed and Kantaro just kept coughing up lots and lots of blood. It was like something invisible was crushing him and was making his body feel like it was being crushed. Kantaro just couldn't stop Shinra! He put his other hand on Kantaro and carried on extracting his power. Before you knew it, the powers have successfully been removed from Kantaro's body.

"How pathetic! The 9th best Onmyouji wasn't even able to put a major wound on me. Don't worry, I won't let this get out to the world. Goodbye, Kantaro Kawamoto.", scowled Shinra as he began to lift his sword.

"So this is how it ends, huh. I'm sorry, Rei. Looks like I am joining you and leaving our kids behind.", sniffled Kantaro as he knew his life was about to end.

Just when Shinra's sword came swinging down, Ryu step in and released his Talisman Material, the Dual Dagger. He shrugged Shinra and stood in front of Kantaro to protect him.

"Father!", cried Melissa as she ran to his side.

"R....Run! You can't take him on!", yelled Kantaro.

"He's just a Demon, we can handle him.",  denounced Ryu.

"It's good to be overconfident, Ryu. But I'm sorry...only the strong can be strong.", shot Shinra.

"Tempo join me! Die! Shinra!", screamed Ryu.

Both Ryu and Tempo ran violently towards Shinra but they couldn't do damage to him. Shinra just walked past them and they were on the floor.

"Don't worry, I didn't kill them. I've lost the intent to kill sorrowful humans. I've got what I wanted. Goodbye, Former number 9 of the Onmyouji Association.", smirked Shinra as he opened up a Warp Portal to leave.

It was then that Ryu and Tempo claimed they will get revenge on the Fujimura family. They learnt through Melissa that Suzuki is related to Shinra and planned to get rid of him for the better of this world. That mindset has now lead them to the incident they are in now....
